- There's no way Cal doesn't see how good Lyles could be at the 4. I don't think he's sandbagging, per se, but dude is biding his time. He knows March is when we need to be peaking.

- BBdK, any other hip-hop heads- what's the best book on the Biggie/Tupac conflict/murders?

- How's Will doing? Anyone talked to that dude lately?

- I know I'm a simpleton, but to me, atmosphere is every bit as important as the food at a restaurant.

Weirdly, I think I'd like to see the Cards get this one...just to calm the UNC side down a bit. They are on a nice little run, like to see that stop for a bit.

Obviously, I won't be upset if UofL loses, just sayin. Don't really care if they win...they need to beat SOMEBODY or our road W vs them looks shittier and shittier (that doesn't really matter, I know)

Yep. Feel the exact same way. Likewise, I'll be rooting for Duke against Virginia. Tired of their hype already.

Speaking of- Duke, already a poor perimeter defensive squad, lost their best or second-best defender. Ha.

We've had this conversation 40 times, but Stacey Williams, ftw.

'73 will be by any minute romanticizing about the women of that era. Elle, Kathy, etc. Nothing he loves more.....CMD, too.

- Also a good point on Stacey Williams, BBdK.

- Speaking of which- how about the comeback of the natural tittay? Welcome back!

Still don't quite understand the dismissal.

His beefs w/ K and questionable attitude are well documented...but that stuff happens all the time, at most every program in America. His punishment has been reflected in his diminishing role, since he was an All Conference/Double Digit scorer, and on draft boards as a Freshman.

But to KICK HIM OFF the team? That just seems strange...must have been some kind of climax/huge moment to seal the deal.

I mean, that's the first player he's EVER ran from the program, that's a pretty big deal.

Yep, but K is as good or better than Cal on keeping that **** under wraps and in house.

Losing a dude that talented is brutal but probably an addition by subtraction for those guys. I'm sure axing a guy like that got the attention of those guys.

I saw that, weed, and tons of other like-rumors on Twitter -- didn't give it much thought, don't like to speculate on those types of things -- most seemed to point that it was an ongoing deal.

But maybe that was the 'big' thing that finally gave K the ammo to pull the trigger?

^That'll certainly do it with everything going on in sports/colleges recently.

I hadn't really ever paid attention to the Vandy rape case. Mercy, what a terrible deal all around. I don't feel sympathy for the dudes at all, they did this, but it's hard not to feel something for them when you see that guilty verdict read to normal looking guys. Don't really know what that is but knowing you went from crushing it at Vandy to basically you're life not over but severely F8CKED is hard to watch.

Dumbasses.

Yeah, I've missed that entire story somehow, other than people mentioning it in passing on here.

The rapists are terrible enough...but I don't understand how so often you have other people around just watching/letting that happen? They aren't as guilty, but really not any better in my eyes. How could any normal human being just let that happen without attempting to intervene?

People are awful.

I guess I get what you're saying but they gang-raped a passed-out chick, who happened to be dating the douchebag who filmed it and sent it to other people. Then, the one SOB pissed on the girl.

So, no, I don't feel anything for them.

I always got into the most trouble and did the most shady stuff (not raping kind, of course... party, girls, questionable establishments, etc.) when it was me and another buddy. Three or more and good sense most always prevailed.

Last two standing at a bachelor party, like in Vegas or New Orleans, and pretty much all bets were off. We were finding some trouble. TS.

It's definitely not compassion or sympathy.

I think for some reason I put myself in their shoes sometimes for weird stuff like that(life altering situations) and imagine how I would react. Weird quirk similar to the irrational feeling to jump or what I would do to save myself if I jumped from a high balcony or building.

I'm pretty sure the people standing around aren't just getting off scot-free.

That's a true statement and there were 2 in particular that would really escalate that for me. Also in most groups 3 or more prevailed but a few specific combinations actually made things worse.

It's your body, your body,
Is a portapotty,
When I pee I kick,
I'm gonna do karate on your body,
I'm want to pee on you,
Drip, drip, drip,
Yes I do I pee on you

Very true. Well, 3 is still kinda shady, but more than that and things are usually more level headed. Not sure what is wrong with kids these days.

-Before losing to ND and then booting RS, i would have given Duke next to no chance at UVA, who I've been saying all along is going to win that conference (with a couple of losses). But now the Dukies will be playing like their hair is on fire, a real chip on Richie's shoulder and all. So they go a chance. Still pretty sure UVa wins comfortably though, after their own wake up call.

-Of the 3 SI models I've met or seen up close in person, I'd go Marisa Miller>>>>>>Nina Agdal>>>>>>>Brooklyn Decker. MM needs no explanation, just perfection. BD is obviously smoke, but if we are going to nitpick between ridic models, she's got a kinda scrunchy face, and was annoying in person. Drunk and whiny. Again, disclaimer - only saying this in comparison to the other two supermodels. Would still do whatever the kids are calling it these days.

-Of all time, Christie Brinkley will forever be my #1. Partly because of Vacation, and her being huge right in the prime of my pre-pubescence. Pretty sure 1 look at CB was all I needed to know I wasn't gay.

She was a swimming pool waitress!

Ha.

So true. The "last two standing" in any party situation usually gave free license to go deep into the abyss, especially like Anth said if it was with those 1-2 "guys" who seemed to bring out the worst in each other -- everyone has a few friends like that, and I'm sure I was that friend for a few people as well.

Agree with Dennis on Christie Brinkley. Perfection - all-time #1, not just in SI but in any category. And any argument to the contrary cannot even take place unless / until any of the other choices reach age 60, and they look as good as she does now. Which they won't, because it's not possible.

Trouble found us most often, when we had already made it home for the night... but decided to go back out somewhere.

3AM return to fraternity house with tacos, should eat and pass out... ultimately end up with a DUI after hitting a parked car on State St. trying to find some girls address who (probably) accidentally responded to a mass text that just said "Hey whats up"

-I still think Duke beats UVa. They're due.

-7p Saturday home game. Mercy this has been a long time coming. I think UNC was the last one.

It's a lot easier for two people to keep a secret.

Booty calls back in the college days before cell phones...damn. Either somebody had to be home and awake, or just the random drop in. Kids these days have no idea.

Really no clue on the Duke/Uva game. Could see it either way.

I was really looking forward to this one. My siblings decided to have a 50th bday party for my sister at 7:00.

Oh well. I traded this ticket for the Feb. 21 game I had already sold to a buddy of mine.

I think I am going to just dvr it and watch it later that night.

Odd number-Duke wins, Even it's Virginia.
