Honestly, pretty much all of the seats aren't great unless you are courtside. You're gonna be watching it on the jumbotron. Marcus be upper deck and save the loot.

Plan on attempting to get there on Friday early enough to go scout seats. I think the lowers and first couple of clubs should be pretty good.

Thankfully UK remembered they were the best defensive team in the country the last 2 and half. When we got the ball at 66 all with no clock left I actually thought we were going to win it there. Not sure where that confidence was but I thought it would go to Towns or AA. Drew with a tough as nails drive and clutch free throws was impressive tho.

Re: GYER38-0

-Yeah, I was nervous as **** during that inbound, figured we'd be going for steals and blocks and a long rebound would be picked up.

-2 crunch time timeouts and plays for ND and they were really disorganized and broke down. Great coach, experienced upperclassmen, smart players and they folded. Guess who went perfect down the stretch?

-I think Cal was determined to not help on the drives to avoid the open 3's. Not that he couldn't see the plays and adjust. He's said all season that he's not going to get beat that way. Probably tested his resolve there down 6 but it worked. When the game tightened up our D and balls prevailed.

-Other than that one mishap and open 3 I thought Johnson played decent in his minutes. Granted I like Lee in there better. However, Lee gives us NOTHING on offense so I guess that's why Johnson is in there.

I don't think Cal trusts Pee as much as he does Dakari. That's what it boils down to, IMO.

As far as the next game goes, I think the way to handle Kaminsky is to attack him relentlessly on offense and try to get him in foul trouble. Make him guard. Same thing with whoever is guarding Lyles.

Re: GYER38-0

Ashamed to admit it, but I turned the TV off a few minutes into the second half and tried to go to bed. I simply couldn't handle it. The scenario going through my mind was us losing and UofL going to the final four.
Felt pretty sure that was going to happen and there would be 3 ACC teams in the final four. Still, I kept checking my phone every couple of minutes, so figured I marcus just watch the damned thing. Glad I did, but that was brutal.

I imagine it will be similar to Cowboy stadium. I mean, putting a basketball court in the middle of a football field isn't really ideal. I had lowers last year, and I watched the damn game on the monitors.

Pro tip(not really a pro but...): If you are trying to upgrade DO NOT upgrade with anything behind the baskets. If the setup is like Houston. Sidelines only.

Re: GYER38-0

I honestly think Notre Dame just got tired. It's happened all season long at the 10 minute mark. These guys just went a little bit longer, but they hit the wall with 5-6 minutes left. Didn't score the rest of the way.

I don't care about Connaughton hanging on the rim. I'm more concerned about letting a 6'5" athletic freak waltz down an empty lane highway without a defender even trying to guard him. Good for him. Deserved to hang on the rim. Our D was ****.

Went to the Elite 8 game in Indy last year. The seats/views were great unless you were in the rafters.

Well then! Put the right people in the game that can guard the driver and don't consequently breakdown the entire defense with remedial ball screen/handoff action. Novel stuff.

Our offensive efficiency was pretty damn efficient most of the night. I don't think having a guy like Marcus Lee would have resulted in some substantial offensive drop-off. He's proven he's a monster on put backs and has a knack for being in the right spots and is an underrated passer.

Don't try to defend it because you can't. Notre Dame pretty much got anything they wanted all night because of Cal's refusal to go small in accordance with their game-plan.

Well, yeah, but I don't really have the pull to get this thing moved to Bankers Life so... either deal with it or watch it on a projection screen at Tin Roof.

The last 2 have been pretty solid, I think they learned how to set it up after Houston, because that really was a waste of $$. Couldn't see anything, players could shoot, it was a disaster.

Re: GYER38-0

Lee gives us putbacks and oops. Would have been enough IMO. Might have been able to block out or outjump Auguste too, good lord he killed us on the boards.

I was hoping hat Easter being Sunday would stem demand somewhat, but apparently not. I know at least people who wanted to go that backed out, using Easter as an excuse. Could be one of those situations where the lack of hotel rooms, Easter, and other factors force prices down as the game approaches. We'll see.

One thing's for sure - Wisconsin might set a world record for whiny ***** faces in this next game. No one on that team has ever committed a legit foul. If you don't believe me, go back and watch every single game they've played in in this tourney. Constant pissing and moaning - just like their shitball coach.

Kaminsky is the most noticeable but Gasser is the most underrated pouty ***** of the bunch, IMO.

MCF gonna be OK at this thing? Kinda worried about the guy. Dude loves him some Bo.

yeah, same here about the 6. I get it, start your drive with 10 seconds to allow time for an offensive rebound tip (or 2), still don't like it though. Kind of worked out doing it that way for UL at the end of regulation in their game.

I did defend it, and most every fan I know understands it, but if you want to be pissy after beating the ACC-T champions(a team that beat UNC and Duke(x2)) to go to 38-0 on the season and in a Final Four, then by all means be pissy. They were the best 3 point shooting team in the country, one of the best offensive team in the country and we held them to 28% from deep. That's what Cal said he wanted to do, he did it. If you wanted to hold them scoreless, I hear ya.

****, look at the box. We played pretty well and they played really well for 30 minutes. That's been the story all year. It was just enough to beat them. Got me all kinds of worried about this weekend but winning a title isn't ever easy.

-+1 Zero worries about the initial score. Much more worried about the rebound and them holding for last shot. I thought we were going to get so screwed on the shot clock thing (even if the right call).

-ND was some bizarro version of what the dribble drive is supposed to be (we cut off the kickout for 3, but they hit the layups or got every follow) and Princeton running backdoors. Absolutely carved us up. Speed dominated size for the most part, until the end, and KAT shoved his manhood down their throats.

-I HATE the Wisky whining. Every play, foul and no foul. Thought it was hilarious that one of Frank's teammates was telling him "no....no...nope" on that horrible attempt of jumping in and drawing a foul.

-Four tourney games. We had 66 fouls called to our opponents 87. We shot 108 FT, to our opponents 69. Amazing, Louisville "committed" only 56 fouls to 71 for their opponents, and had 83 free throw attempts to their 49.

-In UofL's last 14 games, they went 8-6. 1-3 against ranked teams (one win at home over UVa missing Anderson). Just an amazing coaching job! Way to go overachievers!!!

Who the F cares about Louisville? They were a non-factor this entire season with me. We have bigger fish to fry. I've been worried about actual contenders- like Wisconsin and Duke.

I don't think I've ever been so comfortable/carefree with Louisville's showing in the tourney, because no matter how well they played, I was 100% convinced we'd go farther (like, all the way).

The comparison went thru my head = Warren Buffett congratulating his next door neighbor for getting promoted at work.

Congrats, young man, you're really doing well for yourself these days.

Surprise Bluegrass Stakes not getting more run here. I mean Keeneland clubhouse + Final Four is a nice consolation prize to those of us not paying the 100000 for a ticket/hotel Saturday.

K, but congrats on missing the point.

It's not necessarily the gameplan (not great) against a team spreading the floor as it is with who he chose trot out there defensively to execute said gameplan. It was a huge gaffe and I don't think we have near the nail biter down the stretch had Cal used the right personnel.

I'm ecstatic we had enough talent and playmaking ability down the stretch to get over the hump. Just alarmed something like that was never really addressed throughout the game and adjustments were refused. It almost sunk the damn ship.

Either way, I've made the point. Happy to be moving on.
