Not sure what specifics are involved but usually to teach at a collegiate level requires master degree. VMI is a good ole boy school. If you graduate from there, you usually can get employed somewhere for life.

If Trump won not only the electoral but the popular vote, what does that say about our education system?
I'm adamantly against the mass use of the H1b v . I didn't realize the big tax breaks companies get using them but what else would you expect from our government? I'm betting big teck who have almost all donated and supported democrats paid bigly to Congress on both sides to vote for them and back them .
I believe Trump will fall right in line.
We all know the curve in our public schools is live and pushing people through, we all know many Americans are entitled bitches....I know the labor coming from south of the border who is not criminal are very hard workers, is the Indians coming better educated and harder workers or is it just for cheap labor and tax breaks ?
There is nothing wrong with legal immigration. You can't find enough engineers the way it is now. If we didn't hire immigrants on H1B visas we would be in real trouble.
Asians are usually pretty smart. Not sure If more educated but definitely here for the American dream and will work their *** off to get ahead from my experience. I don't know what tax breaks we get for hiring immigrants on Visas but I know we pay for their visas and most stay with us until at a minimum they get a green card. We struggle to hire enough engineers so if we can hire a good candidate we will do it on H1B visas.
