Had we beaten Purdue, we likely win the Big Ten Tournament

Purdue plays OSU today, a team we should have beaten twice, and then they will play the winner of Penn State/Indiana, teams we've already beaten. I don't think it's farfetched to say that with Mawot Mag, we win the Big Ten Tournament. So close.

Us and about 11 schools in the Big Ten had legitimate chances to win the conference this year. Unlike many years. 10 schools can all point to one or 2 things that flipped their way would have changed their season. But, that’s sports ! Someone will actually win it, meaning they did all the thing the other teams “could have” done

When did we beat Indiana?
Before they beat us.

Kinda goes both ways.

I’m on record in saying the big ten championship was played yesterday at noon

Don’t believe in good losses , but if theee is such a thing , we saw it yesterday in a true 15 round heavyweight fight

Last two games got us NCAA
ready

Many prominent posters know I’m on record that, like the 2018 big ten tourney run, we needed to call an audible in player rotations for the big ten tourney and going forward ….

Solved our offensive malaise . We can score 65…and that gives us a real chance on any given time we take the court against anyone else in the field

The key ia avoiding Dayton and getting the extra rest right now to get a little healthier and more practice time with the new player rotations

If so….., I think we have a real shot of getting a sweep next weekend

Keeping my fingers crossed. Simpson has really stepped up in a big way in recent games.

Ohio State has elite freshmen talent which likely will make them the B1G Ten preseason favorite next season. They are leading Purdue 26-19 .and just might win the league championship on Sunday.Talent matters in sports.

I actually think this is one of Al’s more levelheaded threads. I could completely have seen us making a run to and winning the title had we won yesterday.

How many 4 game winning streaks have we had lately, to confidently say we could this?

It's not the " we could have possibly" but the "we would have" position.

The separation is close.. no doubt.

I’ll take it one step further Al. If we had won all the games we lost we’d likely be a 1 seed in the NCAA tournament
