I know alot don't care but anytime we do better than Duke is a great thing ESPECIALLY when we steal their Joy, remember this was supposed to be their big year, K was supposed to be better than Cal and the media ate it up.

I'm loving Cals rejuvenated Spirit. The Recruiting never needs to change. Cal I believe took what K is doing personally and he went to work!

We need to have a resume that going into the tournament sends us to the most favorable region as a 1 seed: I’m sorry but this garbage about November not mattering is largely why we haven’t won a second title with cal. Since 2015 we have not had a 1 seed and if we re gonna win it it’s gonna be from the 1 line or the 2 line with a weak 3 seed. Every single game matters. Get off his March only kick. Out of the last 13 champs only 4 have not been a 1 seed. Something like 23 out of the last 40 years (when seeding began) have been number 1 seeds.

You evidently don’t pay attention to college hoops. A win against duke, UNCheat, a loss to crap st. Yes those games matter as any game in feb and more than the secT. I don’t know who started the lie that March is all that matters but we have never won a championship from any lower than the two line and 2 of the three since seeding began were the 1 line. The sec will be brutal this year and you bet your *** every game will matter November or February when it comes to seeding.

The 1 seed with arguably the easiest draw won it again this year.

Every game matters. If UNC doesn't lose to Wagner this past year they may very well have gotten a 1 seed again.

Roy Williams at UNC has had a 1 seed 6 times and turned 5 of those into final fours and 3 into titles.

Coach K hasn't made a final four as anything other than a 1 seed in 24 years. Even the goat needs that 1 seed to make any noise.

Our runs in 2011 and 2014 were the product of brilliant late game coaching by Cal but also a lot of luck. As we've seen in 2017 and 2018 that can easily go the other way. (Though I think 2018 was less bad luck against ksu and more we just weren't very good).

Our problem is we can be the one seed by a mile and get the hardest route to the final four. Meanwhile puke will get Gonzaga, and overachieving Nevada who will probably lose in the first round. Guaranteed we see atleast one of puke, cheat, or toupee u before the final four, with Higgins, Hess, and Adams calling our games

This may be the biggest myth in college basketball. Seeding matters a ton. Gelling by March doesn't mean squat if it gets you a 4 or worse. Hell, you really need to be a 1.

Since 1985, the 1 seed has won 61%, 1 or 2 has won 76%, and a 1/2/3 has won 88% of the time.

This simply isn’t true, as has already been explained. Of course playing well is important. But playing well as a 3, 4, or 5 seed will not typically yield the same result as playing well as a 1.

Further, you might even be able to get away with an off night or two as a 1 seed.

If your goal is to win the tournament, earning a 1 seed is the single most important thing you can do. Even then, it’s somewhat of a crapshoot.
