Interesting that Jeter's last homestand comes against the first place (!?) Orioles (I wonder if they gave Jeffrey Maier complementary tickets) with-of ALL people- Showalter at the helm. You know he absolutely loved being the one to eliminate the Yankees from the playoff chase. This thing has more storylines than a Mexican soap opera.
