Maybe he was in the game already or maybe I'm just dumb but why not put bear Wilson in there also? Tall guy who can certainly out jump most to swat the ball down next time. Just a thought. Someone forward this to mullen and collins. Thanks.

Chris Jones had really strong legs. We should let him kick. Preston Smith broke through a double team. We should spell Robinson with Smith. It's logic, man.

Why was it dumb to post last night that in spite of winning you wanted Mullen fired? Does that need an answer?

What's dumb is you wanting to forward your ideas to two men who have more years of coaching experience than you have years. The hail mary defense looked good to me. We picked it off didn't we?

DB's need twitch quickness to turn hips and react

Wilson doesn't have this. Most people over 6'3" don't because it's hard to stop on a dime when you are 6'5" 220 lbs. Oh yeah and the fact that he doesn't have time to practice with the D. Is that enough?

I've just seen nfl teams do it before to knock it down. Not telling bear to cover the wide out. You see in a hail mary pass your not playing up on the reciever. More like an outfielder. Do you know what a hail mary is?

NFL teams. Not college. There's a reason they're in the NFL and it's because they are the best athletes in the world.

We've ALL seen it, and if we've seen it, chances are that Dan Mullen, or Geoff Collins or Deshea Townsend has seen it too, don't ya think? I'm not saying it's a dumb idea. I'm saying it's dumb to think they haven't thought about that and need some doorknob fan from a message board to suggest it to them.

It's not as dumb as wanting to fire Mullen the last two minutes of the game though. It'll take you a while to overcome that one, and the hail mary defense isn't a good start for that.

I think it's pretty valid to say that we should have had Hutch, Bear, and anyone over 6'3" out there with some DB's. The goal shouldn't be to intercept, it should be to bat the ball down.

They do it in the NFL because it's smart. I'm not bitching because it worked, but it would probably be good to include that package in practice moving forward. I trust Market's defense skills a lot more than Bear's but I'd rather the extra foot of height.
