Hail State has got to go.

I appreciate the initiative, and I think it has its place. But as someone else pointed out last night, I'm sick of people committing to #HailState and us putting Hail State on our jerseys. We're not Hail State University, and by the looks of everything MSU related that has been lost on our athletic department.

I can't see Ole Miss putting Hotty Toddy, Alabama Roll Tide, Tennessee Rocky Top, South Carolina [chicken noise], or Auburn War Eagle on uniforms.

It's better than "Go State!" but that's essentially what it is. We're basically putting "Go State!" across the chest of our uniforms.

i agree, but the marketing department seems dug-in on it. they are going to jam it down our throats at every opportunity. i dont like saying it in most circumstances but apparently, we have to match the rest of the sec with a gimmicky saying.

I agree... I like "Hail State". It's unique, and way better than "Go Dawgs" or "Go State". Putting it on jerseys is a little over the top... But who knows, that could be the new thing going forward.
