I've had a Hailstatetv subscription since football season, but have never had a need to listen to it on my phone until today. Does it work well enough to listen to games on the road? I'll be on mostly major highways an roads during the game tonight.

Works pretty well for me on Android

It'll occasionally just randomly stop and I have to hit the play button again, but other than that it gets the job done.

Yes. It works great. Never had a car you could bluetooth your phone to your radio until last year and it worked flawlessly.

I think you have to upgrade the app for any streaming, but I'm not completely sure. It actually won't let me upgrade right now- I keep clicking the Upgrade button under In App Purchases, and nothing happens. Anyone else seeing this?

I use TuneIn Radio App and listen to 105.9 The Zone in Jackson. It's free and they usually broadcast all the baseball games.

I think you have to pay for an upgraded version of the HailState app AND have an audio subscription.

It used to be you only had to have the upgraded version of the app for audio.

Heads up on streaming radio stations

I use TuneIn Radio App and listen to 105.9 The Zone in Jackson. It's free and they usually broadcast all the baseball games.

Today's game and tomorrow's are non-network games and will not be broadcast on all of the radio affiliate stations. You'll have to use wkbb 100.9 for non network games. I know the tunein app carries 100.9. It's pretty standard to only have 1 network game per week during non conference so you might want to go ahead and make 100.9 one of your favorites for now.

I use tune in and the last few times I've tried to listen to a Msu broadcast they are airing regularly scheduled broadcast (supertalk) on 100.9 or Christian music on 107.9 but on the radio in my truck the Msu broadcast was airing.
I just figured Msu has figured out how to have the exclusive broadcast over the Internet ???

Its hit and miss on TuneIn w/ non conference, mostly miss. Wiener said this a.m on OOB that it wouldn't be on 105.9 tonight.

Here's the quote from Google Play Premium Hail State App description:

"Watch Live and on-demand video from the HailState.tv library and enjoy access to live audio (requires HailState.tv subscription) of your favorite MSU Bulldogs sports."

So from that it sounds like you purchase HailStatetv from HailState.com then go to Google Play and purchase the premium app ($4.99) and you can then listen to it or watch on droid devices.

Doesn't look like we'll be listening to anything for quite a while. My girlfriend wasn't thrilled with me listening to the game to begin with, maybe its for the best
