Galax was dominate for much of the half. Giles blocked the Galax PAT. Giles scored on a pass with 2 seconds to go in the half and kicked the PAT.

Giles was probably at its season's best in the first 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter.

Give galax credit for heart...Harris had at least 40 maybe 45 carries...very physical game...Giles coulda played better...n now a short week to play a 3rd team that has had 2 weeks to get ready for us...let's get to it...go giles

3 and 0 against teams that have bye weeks so far. Has showed because teams are coming out and defending well. Giles has been going in at half in these games making good adjustments. Giles is pretty banged up after this one. Giving a short week and playing Glenver on a bye will be tough. Depending on who will be out for Giles I think they win the game. Time will tell.

Hats off to Giles for coming out of halftime and playing good ball. Didn't get to make the trip because of sandlot practice so I had to listen on the radio. Sounds like Galax pretty well dominated the first half and fell apart in the 3rd and started playing a little better in the 4th. And the score wouldn't have been as close if Giles had got the on side kick but they didn't keep them out of the end zone either. Like I said i had to listen on radio so I might have had a whole different outlook if I had seen it in person..

MT FAN 91, Galax has a great team. It was a very physical game just like I knew it would be. Giles will be going Into Sat banged up pretty good. I look for Galax to win out from this point and can give someone lots of trouble in playoffs. Giles went in at half and made some blocking adjustments for some things Galax threw at them they had not seen. Advantage of bye week, u get to work on things like that. Hate u had to miss the game.
