Sloppy start. Hall up 11-5 at 1st TO.
Anderson and Jones sharing ball handling. Offense has several TOs. Tried feeding post 3 times, hasn't worked yet.
Fisher has 5 pts

Petro definitely looks most comfortable handling the ball. Had a nice drive and floater.
Sim checks out early with 2 fouls.

Pirates beat the fullcourt press, pass inbounds toward mid court, Brown pushes then lobs to Williams for the jam
Thomas MONSTER jam over defender with and 1 opportunity
2nd unit in.
Kareem with an impressive pump fake from 3 drive and dunk plus foul

Offense looks lost. TOs, standing around, no movement. Fisher only one getting shots.
Sha reams them out and offense gets better movement. A Del 3 and 2 buckets for Copeland in the post. Then they fail to get back on D and give up easy dunk and Sha calls TO. 28-24
One area we are killing them in is Rebounding.

Doesn’t surprise me in the least. Especially as an undersized skilled 4 against a mid major who knows Sha’s system.
Did we ask Saint Danny if it’s OK to play him? Want to make sure we don’t insult his integrity of the game stuff.
Same issues on offense without a PG to bail us out.
Petro is definitely better option for offense. He's a legit PG adept at using change of pace to make room. Has a nice hesi-dribble package. Looks confident handling the ball.
Jones and Anderson don't look good playing PG. Not creating space, they get sped up and don't have natural vision or passing skills to be good facilitators.
Petro's issue is quickness on D. Is working hard but he's not suited to fight over ball screens and stay with his man. He's trying and hasn't really been burnt but the other 2 are better at that aspect.
Petro looked better getting run with 1st unit.

Oof madone. We’re supposed to be more talented.. I get it’s a new team but the talent should take over at some point…. It’s basketball, not rocket science
Pirates fans with a big showing, it’s got to be at least 50-50, maybe even more SHU fans.
Didnt sha say our offense is way ahead of our defense?
