San fran why the attack
I wish for him to have the great feelings about more than just thefball aspect of his college experience and the current coaches. He can still have loyalty to flood and feel that he didnt want to go anywhere.
The implication that your "love" for Rutgers is somehow better informed, more far-reaching or more enlightened than his is pretty galling.
I recognize that you -- and others -- have calcified the conclusion that removing Flood is the only solution to what you perceive as your "woes," but you're talking about someone who is actually IN the institution you're talking about, and not merely a spectator, an alumnus, or one of its "trustees." Our anonymous Internet personae tend to be unwilling to accept that others may know more than we do, have insights and access to information that we don't, and -- as a result -- we overreach for rationalizations like "I know what's better for this football program and this university than he does," but the implication that Hamilton is merely looking out for himself or is incapable of taking a broader view of what Flood's tenure brings to Rutgers --
"warts and all" -- invites a stern rebuke.
I'll indulge the "Fire That Guy" mentality with an eye-roll and silence, for the most part, but I will not see a kid of Hamilton's character trolled by one of our supposed "fans" without voicing opposition.
