Non-Committal to one QB. The old, "We have two QBs that can help us win." Stock Answer. Both will have meaningful snaps in second half he say… just like both will play in the Iowa state game… oh wait.

FS1 is showing a quick replay of the game tonight at 7:30 CST.
??? No. They don't.Yes. 3 and outs do a lot to improve your defense's performance
Who will start next game? I don't know. Ask Tim...Oh wait!
??? No. They don't.
Especially when the clock stops with incompletions.
That's part of why a running game is the D's best friend
No, I didn't.
He's keeping everyone guessing about everything. 3-D_chess baby.

We dont have a dual threat QB in our two deeps168-11
I luv the fact there are silly people posting as if, "it's close folks, we've made a lot of good points supporting our take"
KF has had a pair of true DT-QBs in Banks and Gronk that were given a shot at being starters. Both delivered. I hope Kirk understands that is a 100% hit rate.
Not pure ... but ... ishWe dont have a dual threat QB in our two deeps

Nothing close to a dual threatNot pure ... but ... ish
Can we agree that Hank and Heck have some difference in their skill sets?
No.
Okay.
Seriously bro, I saw the link the first time.I do have half the board on ignore so for the troll I missed, here's some food ...
Iowa wide receiver Sam Phillips, who spent time in the Southeast at Chattanooga before transferring to Iowa, is familiar with Jeremy Hecklinski's skills and commented on his dual-threat abilities.
I know I know. There is no way Sam Phillips has more insight into Heck's skill-set than bots on this board.
Who will start next game? I don't know. Ask Tim...Oh wait!
Brown isn't healthy yet, so that is going to be a factor, Eickholt stated that it was more about not disparaging Brown. It is also interesting that Kirk commented that Heck has been practicing well. It would not surprise me to see Brown as the starter, but we are certainly getting an OR this week.1. about qbs he said “who is going to play against wisconsin?” someone please inform lester that we play mn after the bye
2. 100-% hank will be back as starter after bye based on vid
3. can’t help but be super positive after hearing lester talk but he’s needs to walk the talk
I'm not advocating for either qb here.I didn't read his post.
Is he still arguing that there is no difference in the skill set between Hank and Heck?
I've rewatched the season.
If there are 2 open receivers on a play ... one being short range and the other being not short range, Hank tends to choose the guy closer to the LOS.
Heck on the other hand is much more willing to throw the ball down the field.
Hank has had the gunslinger coached out of him, which probably explains why he is the Captain's first choice.
Drew Tate is what gives me hope. Heck has some Tate-fire in him. Heck certainly has more in common with Drew than Hank. Maybe the HC will see that?
If you want the film with different views, you have to apply for media credentials. Since you continue with this nonsense, you know who does have those credentials and talks about it? The ANF podcast, and they state directly that Heck takes more shots down field. They also state that Brown has a much better arm.I'm not advocating for either qb here.
But it absolutely blows my mind when fans try to analyze QB's decision making. What about all the action at the 3rd level that YOU CAN'T SEE, as it doesn't fit on the TV screen? Your username might as well be "Don'tTrustMe". Because you clearly don't have a respect for accurate representation of reality.
Did Hank ever have any gunslinger in him?
If it's been coached out of him, why hasn't it been coached out of Heck?
The Captain's first choice? Do you not remember an open competition that ran into the season? Do you not remember Hank winning the job?
Hopping onto virtually any of the Iowa football narratives is a sure fire way to make yourself look like an idiot
This has absolutely nothing to do with my pointIf you want the film with different views, you have to apply for media credentials. They also state that Brown has a much better arm.
I'll help trigger that memory.I'm not advocating for either qb here.
But it absolutely blows my mind when fans try to analyze QB's decision making. What about all the action at the 3rd level that YOU CAN'T SEE, as it doesn't fit on the TV screen?
Yes, I'm aware.I'll help trigger that memory.
Since I posted endozne views from the niu game, everyone on this board has that ability. Are you done?Yes, I'm aware.
Did 3D cite the ANF podcast, or all-access camera angles? No.
He said he rewatched the season, which gives him no ability to speak accurately about action not fitted on the tv screen
Did those NIU stills come with a link to every play of the season?Since I posted endozne views from the niu game, everyone on this board has that ability. Are you done?
Stills? They are videos. You have no contention other than to be contrarian. A decent number of us go to the games as well, so like the Ohio State game, where there were open WRs you may not be able to see from the TV, you can see it in person. I get it that your favorite past time is to be a douche and derail threads, so once again, I'll stop here. Have at it.Did those NIU stills come with a link to every play of the season?
Even if it did, stills don't necessarily paint the whole picture, as fans don't know the progression for each play, and where the QB's eyes should be.
Furthermore, when those stills get narrated by fans, it's pretty much disaster. Just like the still you posted from the Michigan game, that I dismantled.
But AGAIN, all of this is besides the point, because 3D only cited his info having come from him rewatching the season.
My point is about fans. Has nothing to do with the play of Hank/Heck. I didn't realize that's so impossible to understand.
And you're the one that took contention with my post. So, are you done?
OK. Even with video, or with seeing it in person (as if you've actually attended all 6 games), fans aren't qualified to speak on a QB's progressions.Stills? They are videos. You have no contention other than to be contrarian. A decent number of us go to the games as well, so like the Ohio State game, where there were open WRs you may not be able to see from the TV, you can see it in person.
