Seems like we have more transfers than any school in the country... Hansbrough may not be all-world or anything, but he's a solid player. Rick needs to learn how to manage his players better and not allow this to happen so often.

Ha. I thought the rumor was that if Jamont stayed, Ben was gone. I sure hope J$ is back next year.

Edit: Seriously, it's impossible to have a consistent tournament team if you have good players transfer every <17> year. Is this strictly an issue of Ben being unhappy about our team being the Jamont show? Or is there something else going on here?

This **** is getting f'ing ridiculous! What the hell is going on? And I'm not asking for all the ******** Stansbury hate you hear from some folks. What the hell? He has a starting position...it's not like he's going to be pushed out. He's got the name, he's clearly got enough game, he's proven himself. Why?

Unfrickinbelievable.

I don't know why in the hell this happens so often, but it has to stop or we will never be able to build a program. Losing the deadwood and dumbasses like Mr. Sharpe I can understand. But this.. jeebus.

Jamont and Ben did not seem to be on the same page most of last season.

If Jamont comes back, it won't be that big of a loss.

if he allows these guys to transfer to Arkansas, Louisville, etc, then every dipshit that decides he wants out will think he'll just rebound at another big school. I wouldn't let him transfer to anyone within Division 1 this side of the Mississippi or below the Mason Dixon line.

This is a problem. If a guy is getting starters minutes as a freshman and is a full time starter during his sophomore year, scoring 10 a game, we just went to the NCAA tournament...What is his beef? I don't get it.

I'm a Stans man but he is the only constant here. I always thought the players like Stans alright.

We really need to hear more on this. Does it have anything to do with his family? Did he impregnate some hoebag? Is the Hunt Club not doing it for him anymore?

or is Ben just a *****, like the Delk sisters?

This may be a stretch, and I don't keep up with basketball nearly as much as I do football and baseball, but I wonder if he will transfer to UNC to play with his brother. This is where my lack of knowledge with the rules may thwart me, but if he transfers there and is a walk-on, could he play immediately?

My thought is that he was hanging out at the Final Four watching Tyler play, and probably thought, "Man, this would be cool to go to as a player."

Most of the transfers we've been better off without (Sharpe, Rob-ert Jack-son, and the other knuckleheads) but this is 4 productive players we've lost in 4 years, Ervin, the Delks and now Hansbrough. I don't know what the problems were in any of those cases, but Stans needs to get a reign on things pretty soon. As someone said, we'll never build a consistent winner if we keep having starters transfer out after their sophomore year. I think it's time for Stans to put his foot down and not give Hansbrough a waiver to transfer anywhere.

...not giving him a waiver would make much difference. Especially if he's transferring to Mizzou.

Until the deadline to pull out, Jamoney staying is just a rumor.

Without Ben or J$, we see another 2007 season. In other words, just missing the dance.

you're a <17>ing idiot. Did you not see the UF game?

Phil came in for an unmotivated Chuck Rhodes. I'm pretty sure that Been played the first few games.

then he got the kissing disease.

That is because Chokesbrough was hurt, dubmass. Turner had one good game, hence the reason his *** was on the bench for the rest of the season.

This hurts the team, stability wise. Chokesbrough can be replaced on the floor, but this hurts to keep losing freshmens and sophomores year after year.

<17> YOU CHOKESBROUGH!!!

Yeah its a damn shame he choked in that South Carolina game. If only he wouldn't have hit those three crucial free throws...

You are a freaking idiot.

More proof that Stans can recruit but he has no control over his teams during and/or after the season...

Thanks Average Floor Coach..

It's so sad that it's actually comical in its own sick and twisted way.

Next thing you'll be telling me is that we had some football players getting thrown off the team. Oh wait.....

Phil Turner had one good game?

Name it.

I seem to remember him filling C. Rhodes role well around X-mas. Pretty good for a freshmen

Also, name when Been choked. He certainly didn't choke during that USC game.

Maybe you're thing of #22 Randy Stewart? You know Stew's black, right?

quit being a ******** and actually know something when you post. Dick.

If you insist, I'll gladly give him a trophy for that fine performance in that ONE game this season. This joke of a bastard got 35+ minutes per game on a tourney team and the little ***** is going to transfer? <17> him and his sorry ***. GO TO HELL CHOKESBROUGH!!
