5.4 percent GDP during the longest government shutdown in history is NOT what the doom and gloomers told us on and after Liberation Day. In fact, they guaranteed us runaway inflation and negative growth. Oops! No wonder they drive by post and then leave for a month at a time.

Every 4-6 weeks they can find some bad news to bag on. We have seen how their predictions and panic has played out.

Let's see if we can name a few:

Trump can't win the primary 2016. Whoops

Trump can't win 2016. Whoops

Stock market will crash 2017. Whoops

Trump can't win 2024. Whoops

Trump will sink the GOP on the ballot 2024. Whoops

Depression is coming, best case recession 2025. Whoops

Tariffs will make inflation worse than Biden 2025. Whoops

I am sure I have forgot a few.

MOD from B O'Reilly:

Way too many politics in the ICE-Minneapolis disaster. Now, the Senate Democrats say they will not vote to fund ICE, which could shut down the government again. This hurts all Americans.

As usual, politicians simply will not accept the truth of the situation. Minnesota authorities are in full rebellion against federal law. No justification for that. The American people elected Donald Trump to enforce immigration statutes. If Minnesota doesn’t like it, tough. States should be fiscally punished for practicing anarchy.

Meanwhile, there is too much defiance about public safety from Homeland Security. Yes, your job is enforcement, but defusing potential life-death situations should be a priority. Leadership clearly knows federal agents are in danger from disturbed people. Adjustments have to be made because of that.

However, it is absolutely true that the man shot dead on Saturday actually sought his own demise. Sane people don’t bring loaded guns and confront law enforcement. The man’s family should be respected, and his loss mourned. But he, himself, orchestrated his own death.

Finally, President Trump should weigh in on the horrible turn of events in Minnesota. Don’t have to back down. Should bring reasonable dialogue to the table.

Took my wife and kids to this 9 days ago, and it was fantastic. Nothing screams “America” like the stock show. Highly recommend it.

Also took my son to Rockies Fest on Sunday. Didn’t see the same chaos downtown that was a regular issue in recent years.

Side note - didn’t have a single person rush up to our car to wash the windshield. Small signs that the city is healing.
