Fair enough response. I appreciate the clarity on your position, I do agree it's more restrained that some of the wilder speculation.
I have not seen anything credible linking Epstein closely to foreign intelligence (I know there are allegations that this was The Mossad floating around). They typically focus on the lack of clarity about how he acquired his wealth. That said, with electronic communications less prevalent when Epstein first started acquiring his wealth (I mean, he turned 45 before most people had email), it could have been anything from actually facilitating some successful business transactions to extorting a couple of the right people, speculate away.
One of the reasons I cite to the lawyer is that, not only does he have more knowledge of the case than anyone, he is extraordinarily incentivized to want the involvement of more - not less - rich and powerful people. This has been a cash cow of an incredible magnitude for a guy who apparently just "hung out a shingle" only to have one of the victims show up for a consultation. But I've also attempted to read up on the allegations about the involvement of others, but each and every time it's sizzle without the steak. I mean, how do you - a convicted sex predator - invite Woody Allen to your ranch and not have some absurd sex abuse allegations involving Woody unless none actually happened?

Howard Lutnick is a complete douche, but the actual documentation of his visit to Epstein Island supports his narrative that he brought the family while on vacation nearby. Rillaman cited to a gynecologist at Ohio State who was paid by Epstein in 2019, but when I read up on it, that matter was fully investigated and vetted years ago, with a public investigation from the doctor (I'm not saying you have to believe him, but it's not a new allegation and no one has ever found any evidence of wrongdoing, which is a common theme when it comes to Epstein and the third parties he was sucking up to).
As for the magnitude of women, it appears Epstein had insatiable sexual appetites (the evidence is clear on this). It also appears that most of these situations involved young women of legal age who were coerced (and in many cases probably paid) to have sex with Epstein. The implication is, to the extent others also received sexual favors from Epstein's scheme, it was the legal-aged women who were involved in those trysts. Which would make little sense if Epstein were springing a honeypot, you'd want the criminal stuff because it generates so much more leverage. But if the scheme were all about pleasing Epstein, the last thing he'd ever want is a 16-year-old alleging he was passing her around as a prostitute (to gain personally), that's decades in prison type stuff, and I'm fairly comfortable speculating Epstein had a good sense of his own legal jeopardy.
I haven't even gotten to the legal stuff. If you were an FBI agent who got the goods on the Epstein honeypot ring, it's a career maker. Instead, what every investigation got was Jeff Epstein, monster who preyed on vulnerable young girls on either side of the 18-year-old age of consent. I just don't see the facts taking us anywhere else, after years after speculation and innuendo.
