For those desperate to nuke the filibuster to pass a ball that isn't even particularly impactful, please note that Democrats would utilize this to pass far more consequential legislation than the GOP ever will, and you won't like it.

On a separate note, I hope Trump and Bibi keep kicking Iranian tail. That said, I'd like to see steps to move beyond a giant lawnmowing of Iranian military capabilities (nice navy you have there, Iran, shame it all sunk) and turn into a more serious effort to find a suitable replacement government. If that means some random Colonel looking to make a big financial score seizes control by shooting a bunch of mullahs in the face, then that's what it means (a transition to democracy is preferable, but a transition away from the theocracy is needed).
I liked the second paragraph.

If it isn't impactful, why is it so hard to pass? Wouldn't that make it a layup?

This Day in History, March 11, 2021, Joe Biden's big achievement, the American Rescue Plan signed into law by Mr. Biden, almost two trillion dollars. This was to get through COVID. Where did the money go? So that was five years ago today, American Rescue Plan, okay? About $130 billion went to schools to help them reopen after COVID. I don't think that's worth it, sorry. Individual taxpayers earning less than $75,000 got checks. You might have gotten one. Okay, $300 billion unemployment benefits. That was necessary. A lot of people lost their job because of the virus. 400 billion in COVID relief, stolen or lost. What? Lost? 400 billion. That means it disappeared. 400 billion disappeared because nobody watched it. 79 billion in fraud. 3,000 individuals have been arrested and charged with fraud-related COVID activities. And of course, the 2 trillion that pumped into the economy ignited inflation. Due to all the surge of money coming in, went up to 9%. And we're still suffering with that now, not as much, but that's where the money went.
