No fatalities so no 4 games. My prediction is 2 and a stern talking to.

Harbaugh basically lied to the NCAA and that's what got Tressel fired, not the OSU players" tatoos.

Harbaugh bought two recruits hamburgers when they showed up unexpectedly and didn’t recall doing that. Tennessee had 200 violations including 18 level 1. TN has zero suspensions and disruption of recruiting, coaching etc.

UM clearly deserves the harsher punishment

Cry harder.
Let Jim swing. Liars should be punished. Jim Tressel says hello.

I think the difference is not about the school but more about the offender. In Michigan’s case, Harbaugh is still there.

Pruitt got a show cause and is pretty much a no touch for the foreseeable future. Tenn also go fined 8 million iirc.

Harbaugh is still at Michigan. If he had left to the NFL, it’s likely nothing of any significance would have happened to the new HC and staff.

Jim Harbaugh will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season, all at home, which includes our game against them. So, our first 2 B1G opponents will be without their head coaches …

Difference is Tennessee came clean. Harbaugh tried to cover it up.
And you are correct Tennessee and the mightier than thou SEC gets off scot free every time.

It won’t get resolved until after the season. It’s possible he he could jump to the NFL at that time if the punishment ends up being more than what he was willing to take this time.

he'll have all of the 2023 season to negotiate and be able to jump if the NCAA comes down too hard or able to work out a deal that is easier on him and school but makes the NCAA look like they nailed him.

The NCAA has an incredible ability to draw itself into complete shitshows. Another embarrassment for the toothless NCAA.
