Coach Harbaugh is now sleeping over at prospects houses...

At what point does this go from "pulling out all of the stops", to just a little bit creepy. As a parent, I'm not sure I want a grown man spending the night with my teenager...just sayin!
Heard Penn State once used similar recruiting tactics.

Well, I guess come signing day, we can compare Riley's recruiting genius against Harbaughs tactics.

For those defending JH, no problems with this? You seem pretty ok with it...

I just think it's weird. Maybe it's effective, but weird.

Well, since you've never compared Nebraska and Michigan recruiting before, it's no surprise you're doing it now. King blotard gonna king blotard.

If my son was good enough to garner attention from Harbaugh, and Harbaugh wanted to stay over, I gotta be honest...I think it'd be sorta cool. I go back and forth on that guy all the time. Loved the hire at first, then "The Interview" and I think a lot less of him, then he coaches for a season and looks great doing it and I love him again.

Honestly, I get why some would think it's weird, but what if O'Bama was in town and he wanted to stay the night, you telling me you ain't unlocking the deadbolt to let him in? I hate that guy personally, but I think famous people spending the night kinda over rules my hate for him.

How much time you spend with a recruit might be construed as how interested you are. It is creepy though, if you're talking jammies and ghost stories. But, I would guess (or hope) it meant that they sat in the living room watching movies.

Looks like one way a coach can show high interest and be different than any other coach, and it's on a personal level.

Uh oh, John Calipari, Rick Pitino, Bobby Petrino, and Carl Pelini planning sleepovers at recruits homes where mom is "easy on the eyes".

Wow did Jim Harbaugh just do the whole "Netflix and chill" thing to this kid. I wonder how long they took debating on what movie to watch. The " I don't know, what do you like" bit, back and forth for 20 minutes.

Plus pulling Schollie from a kid that's been committed for over 2 years, this guy is trash.

talk about getting screwed over.. at the same time, they are doing whatever it takes to win.. lots of other schools do similar things.

Makes me wonder if the 4 year schollie will mostly be marketing hype in our league, while over signing and cutting players continues in others.

I don't agree, I don't like it, but it doesn't make him trash. Kids bail at the last minute all the time, are they trash as well then?

Everyone is using everyone in these relationships, everyone is attempting to profit with the help of the other person and this is what happens in the real world.

I saw where he was at Cal Poly high school and sat in class with some recruits while there. If he can get away with it I guess why not. However, a sleepover is a little creepy. Also, I would think a school district would not want that type of class distraction either.

Am I the only one who remembers the story about Bo locking up Maliek Collins on his in home visit by challenging him to a wrestling match in his living room? Maliek apparently easily took him down and laughed about it.

This guy is original and the publicity does nothing but help him recruit the kids he wants. Michigan is happy and wouldn't trade him for any other current coach.

It's pretty clear that he is enjoying what he is doing.

He just climbs a tree and blogs, newspapers and sports shows across the country light up and start buzzing.

He's kind of like the Donald Trump of head coaches, doesn't have to spend a dime promoting himself or the University.

Now the question is can he win at Michigan and beat Ohio State...

It's been a tough decade but Harbaugh, a good 2015 season and solid thrashing of Florida certainly makes it easier to say 'Its great to be a Michigan Wolverine!'

Go Blue!
