He's killing it in Nashville these days. HARDY writes so many songs that are on the Billboard/Top whatever lists now for other people (half if not more of Morgan Wallen's entire catalog was written by HARDY), and every now and then he'll put one out himself like this one.

Not me. Love to hear my granddaughter singing songs with 17 in the lyrics on her way home from kindergarten. You hear it sung in many Will Nelson songs

I would imagine that a simple request could be made to Not Scream the F word and I bet he would follow it, for the most part.

You might be right. Certainly a reasonable, probably not uncommon request. And I don’t know the guy, but the sense I get based on his last couple of albums is he might take the stance of “You get Hardy unfiltered or you don’t get Hardy”.
