but my guess is that our student section won't even do anything about it. I hate to say it, but our student section is not very good. They sure come out to the games and everything but to me they are pretty disappointing.

The best was the Maryland student section a few years back, yelling "17 you JJ" to JJ reddick. It was clearly audible on the ESPN broadcast and i believe the ACC reprimanded the school or something.

Similar to what someone did at the regionals in baseball. That and chanting Bat-ter-ry! We decorated the Ole Miss one year after beating them at the hump. It would be awesome to put packs of Viagra all over it for when they walked out.

That is the LAST thing I want to hear the State student section chanting either in person or over the air. I'm not sure what happened to the Maryland students after that, but it wasn't severe enough for a display like that.The older I get, the less humor I find in situations like that. Ban me for a rules violation, but we have got to expect ourselves and those younger than us to show more class than that.

After our comeback in Tuscaloosa, while waiting for the team to come back out to the court, I noticed the little fliers that the student section had. There were various tidbits of information on each of our players. It didn't look like it would be hard to put together. Maybe Byrne needs to have a Student Sections Coordinator. </p>
