At some point in the late third he ran to his left then kicked off the right side of his foot intentionally. Is this something he practices or did him improvise.

I hope I never see it again. Something bad is going to happen.

Saw it one previous game. He's hitting with the outside of his foot like a soccer player

Yes, I mentioned it in my random thoughts thread - looked weird but executed perfectly, flipping the field for us...

He definitely did it in another game or 2 also. I think Michigan and Wisconsin

I don't know if I remember this correctly or not, but I think on that play he got immediate pressure off his right side so he ran to the left a bit and got the kick off.

I believe Korsak has done so also.

That is what you get with these Rugby guys.

And, I question this- Rugby my be the sport that has the toughest players in the world. They get NFL hit with no protection.

There may have been 50 times in Korsaks career here that he could have run for 10-20 yds without even contact. Why did we never do that. I would think that would have also kept the other teams at even a more disadvantage?

Don't get my started on never running Korsak - so many times he easily could've run for 1st down yardage...

Yes, the easy run for the first down is available sometime, but do you want to lose your punter to an injury?

Speaking of kicking have not seen the flubbed PAT discussed. I feel like Jai gave up on it too soon. He probably could have still kicked it but he made no attempt once it was mishandled

It's a very skillful kick and execution. He's done it earlier this season. Probably learned to do it as a kid and has since improved/perfected it to the point where he's confident doing it in pressure situations/under duress. He must think American punters are such amateurs.

It may not look like an instinctive thing to do going to his left but perhaps for him it is. I'm pretty ambidextrous with kicking and would probably just improvise and punt the ball lefty in such cases. But it would be 50:50 to shank it or send it off clean.
