Has anybody ever rented a generator for tailgating?

I'm only going to be able to make a few games this year it looks like, so I don't really want to buy a generator for tailgating. I'd like to rent one for 3 or 4 Saturdays this fall, but didn't know if anyone did that. If anybody knows of a person or store that rents them out, let me know. I'm ultimately wanting to buy a Honda EU2000 or similar for next season, but can't afford to spend $800 on a generator right now. Thanks in advance

ETA: I have a large 3500w generator, but it's really big and loud as 17, so I'm looking for something smaller.

You want regret buying it when you do jump in. They are efficient, quiet and dependable. I would put the rental money toward the purchase. I just hate renting anything.

Good Luck!

We run our entire tailgate on one EU2000, that is satellite, 32 inch plasma, string lights, crockpot, etc.
We actually did all that on a 1000 2 years ago, but late in the day the lights would dim and tv screen would lock up.

lights want go dim and the TV lock up. ****

Probably don't need two for tailgating. I also use mine for work and need the extra wattage that two wired in parrallel gives. You can run two and run the whole Motorhome if desired.
