Has anyone heard about what our all-american kicker Carlson did?

During practice, he was throwing balls with the long snapper Field. He threw one high up in the air, like a punt, and then when Field was looking up to catch it he chunks a ball straight at his face. Hits him in the eye, causes some serious damage, doctor says if he played and got hit he could lose his vision. So he's out for today, possibly the season. Seriously Carlson? It's not enough to just suck on your own?

Backup snapper Bowles is starting today, which is fine with me, the other guy has had several low snaps.

we don't lose by 2 or less. Bowles has been on the team 4 years, 3 of them as a walk-on. Finally gets his shot, and it's at Bama, in the end zone. Tough place to start.

where else does that kind of **** happen?..... Kicker injures long snapper with 3rd grade prank.

I think someone needs to tell Carlson that when you perform that joke your supposed to aim the second ball at their nuts.... not their eyeball

we are such a 17ing joke. I'm not laughing b/c the kid got hurt but the fact that this **** goes on at our practices and we wonder why we suck.

I also considered... 1)Where does that put him on the qb depthchart?
2) Maybe we should print a giant banner of Aaron Feld's eye and hang it between the uprights.

all he did was hurt our starting deep snapper by playing a silly prank that could have gone off without a hitch by just missing the guy's eye. /sarcasm

this shows yet again that croom's team is like any other out there. i am not saying that he should automatically be held to a higher standard. he simply put himself on the pedestal that he now stands and this type of silly crap makes him look even more like an idiot.
