With the way Veazey keeps the info up-to-the-second via Twitter and the Blog (and for FREE I might add), plus the likes of Byrne and all the media relations people on Twitter and the overall improved communication of our athletic department in the last year or so, has Gene basically become irrelevant when it comes to on-campus news?
(I ask this because I see he is posting Twitter updates today from the Mullen PC. He and Veazey are basically posting the same thing, only Veazey always does this; Gene just seemed to think it was a good idea today. I would have never noticed until it hit me as I read them that we really don't need him to do that since it's already being done. In addition, Gene's pics pale in comparison to the ones linked (again, for free) on here. What does he add in the way of on-campus news?...)
