Man, that 5th inning was nice though. But yeah, bats have got to wake up next week.
Is everyone just waiting for the perfect pitch? Just get the bat on the ball & get on base. Then hit to move guys around. Just get something going.
As much as I would have liked to beat those D...bags...........We faced UT's best pitchers and put up 5 runs. Not bad. Vandy's pitcher has an ERA of 2.98. OM threw their best guy. If we had more talent, yes, we hit the ball better. However, I have a feeling we won't face pitching like we did in the SECT and we will see run production go up in the NCAAs.
I don't understand why we allow first pitch fastballs right over the plate with no swing. If you swing at least you gauge the timing. Instead, we watch and take a strike. Hujsak needs to coach batting. Geatreau ain't getting it done!
