Has Stans caught his second wind? Or does he just hate Ole Miss?

For the first televised game this season, Stans actually had an energy about him. Not saying it was an A grade coaching performance, but he actually gave the appearance of giving a damn tonight. Every other game I've watched this season he's sat on the bench with little to no emotion. Tonight he was completely different.

I'm pretty sure I saw an "Us against the world" mentality on the floor tonight. They've all (players and coaches) been taking some pretty serious heat lately, so I'm sure going into Oxford it was easy for even Stans to give a good Knute Rockne rah-rah speech. He did look like a different guy out there.


Side note for you, ck, re your thread above: I personally loved Sid giving Ole Miss fans the business. 17 them. I finally feel like he's part of the Bulldog family, and not out on Tha Difference Island all by himself.

he was saying that it was the first time during a televised game he saw stans with energy. That's how i interpreted it

I meant that this is the first televised game in which Stans showed a visible energy. Not all games have been televised and since I haven't been to all of the non-televised games, I simply tried to put a qualifier in the event that Stans was some sort of mad man on the bench early in the season. Jesus, I don't have time to make every 17ing post grammatically perfect - why would anyone even try to claim this was the first TV game?
