Has the MSU maroon helmet been tweaked?

Sportscenter has all the SEC football helmets up right now and the maroon looks darker to me. Might just be because aTm is up there now too.

and I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not a huge fan of the flat maroon/white face mask. Mark me down in the glossy maroon/maroon face mask corner.</p>

Only because it came attached with a white facemask. Well, not only because of that. I also liked it bc we gave an attempt to be trendy. The bold outline on helmet emblem was definitely needed. It looked like a white blob from more than 15-20 yds away.
