Has there ever been a game you wanted State to win more than this?

My answer is no. For obvious reasons , other than the "Nobody said we could do it" aspects.

At the beginning of the season & up til that game, I wanted to beat Auburn more than anybody. Overall though, I think the only game in the past I'd rather have won than this one is the SEC Championship in 98. IF we were to win tomorrow, we might have a chance at another SECCG (still a tough row to hoe, even if we were to win).

THIS. It is a tie between 98 SECCG, 99 BAMA and tomorrow.

I think this Bama team is better than UT 98 or Bama 99 though, which makes the "desire to win" factor spike for this one a little. However, I was a student in 98 and 99...so my world literally depended on football, now I cope much better.

I dont think so. Like others, I was at the SECCG and Bama 99. I wanted those badly. But now...today.....I want this one!!!!!

1999's 8-0 game. I really thought after each week's nailbiter that we'd find a way to win the whole damn thing. And it was fun acting up with the goons at Suttle Hall after each game.

Big night for our "Eye Test" rating. Either way.

I believe we'll win for some, border-line insane part of my consciousness that I can't even grasp. Every game is important, with a nod toward those we're expected to win, but this game is such an incredible opportunity that we can't help being giddy with the possibilities.

I'd give this game a slight edge over '98 because winning means we're good enough to compete for a national championship this year.

Assuming Bama doesn't just come out and lay an egg and State is simply close enough in talent to beat them if the ball bounces the right way, a win means we actually are a top five (probably top 3) team talent wise. We'd still have a pretty tough road to get to a national championship to get past A&M, LSU, and Florida, but
