Haunted Places/Experiences Around or Near Starkville?

Which building on campus was rumored to be haunted? I know it began with an M and the top floor was reportedly blocked off. Never remember the history behind the story, though.
I don't know about that, bit the old Honors house was allegedly haunted by Major Sessums.

You would think McCool would be haunted sinse that was the location for Old Main and a student died when it burn.
Just spent some time reading the old thread shown above....good read while watching the Saints stink it up. If the thread starts again halloween I have a couple of stories that happen to me I can add.
Montgomery Hall over by the cafeteria. A woman hung herself up there? Behind McCool.

Suttle was supposedly haunted. Heard some guy killed himself there during the Christmas holidays or something.
The face in the window at the Pickens County Courthouse in Carrollton, Alabama is neat to see if you haven't already.

Columbus has a Ghosts and Legends Tour each year. I went on it a few years ago when my daughters played a part in it. The W has a few ghost stories associated with it.
I have a personal story...
Wish I could post on the awesome thread from last year but I didn't know if the opportunity would rise for me to tell this story again. Again it's really personal and wild. First for background leading to the main part. My girlfriend at the time (now my fiancé) and I had made the decision to become abstinent until marriage... Sounds dumb yea I know but it was a lot going on in my life and i wanted to try and make some changes for the better and so did she. Obviously as a male anyone would struggle with this in a huge way. We both pressured each other in different times and it kept getting tougher to say no and one night I had a "dream" after being pressured and wanting to cave so badly. My dream was I was in my gym working and I was with my coworkers. For whatever reason we were standing together and a woman started praying for me and we were standing back to back. She's praying and praying and it gets darker and darker creeping in from the corners of the room and I can tell her voice is sounding more urgent and serious like there is something wrong. It gets more and more intense and increasingly darker. It keeps climbing in intensity and she's screaming praying and all of a sudden something just elevates both of us back to back about 10 feet off the ground very fast and just holding us up and the other workers start to pull us down like we were under attack. Then I wake up and it's just me in my room... I woke up and felt a darkness like nothing I've ever experienced. It was darker than normal. It was freezing but I was sweating. It felt so eery. I'm stuck in my bed scared. I can feel my heart pounding and my eyes are wide open but I can't move. I'm literally frozen. I just feel breezes across my face and arms and I have chills, then it feels like something is rolling up my body onto my legs and pushing down on me into the bed like I'm sinking in and I hear a whisper in my ear of a voice saying "Ruben" over and over about 5 times. Just Ruben. It sounded demonic and it terrified me. It was still extremely dark and I did the only thing I knew to do. I prayed and prayed over and over for protection and peace and like a shower of water came over me and I just had chills head to toe and felt relief. Then there was a brightness on my ceiling and it looked like the light was just overpowering the darkness and was pushing it back. And I continued to have chills for about 5 minutes after. I couldn't sleep because all I could think about was the voice in such a terrifying way saying Ruben in a growling deep voice. The next morning I'm searching demon names and trying to find anything on Ruben. I ask several people to help and I asked my dad who is a minister and we found Ruben in the bible. Ruben was the son of Jacob if I recall correctly and Ruben has sexual sin and was broken because of it and lost everything. There was scripture after scripture relating so much to my life at the time that it was incredible. I kept reading and reading and it kept unraveling. It talked about how demons attacked Ruben and everything and how he failed tests from God. It was really life changing. Sorry if this is getting too spiritual but I had never had anything like this happen to me and never heard or saw something so clearly. To me it was a direct Vision or whatever you wanna call it from both above and below of how scary and real that stuff is. I had never been more scared in my life and love to share that story with whoever I can. It just happened to me this spring. I have plenty more details I can share with anyone that's interested...
