My wife told me she thought about getting me a kit for Christmas but didn't. It sort of piqued my interest. I wonder how much is legit vs BS.

Are you wondering what percent horses-*** you are? Most would tell you that number is pretty high.My wife told me she thought about getting me a kit for Christmas but didn't. It sort of piqued my interest. I wonder how much is legit vs BS.

I don't even know how you would know which is more legit unless you know something about DNA testing. I got my wife the kit from Ancestry.com for her birthday last year at her request. She knows a lot about her family history (on her dad's side) thanks to a relative who spent years doing research for a book, and her DNA report tracks with what he found. My mother had hers done through a family association, for about three times the cost of Ancestry's offering. Here's the major difference I could see: Ancestry.com's report provides percentages based on regions for the most part, while the report my mom got was more detailed country-specific.I wonder how much is legit vs BS.
