So happy we won this one. Season was already a success, but this was the icing on the cake, exorcising the Miami demons having never beaten them before, with most of the losses being blowouts.

If this was predicted at the beginning of the year most would have accepted it

I will also add that we played well against most of the big boys - no blow out losses to Penn state, OSU, Michigan. Each one of those we were leading or within a touchdown at half and game wasn’t truly decided into the second half. Far contrast to previous years where it wasn’t worth watching past the first quarter

We really only had 1 truly embarrassing performance and that was against Maryland. But nearly every team has a really bad game

Even iowa was 0-3 at half until they took control in the second half

If people can’t acknowledge the obvious improvement then they are just blind stupid and/ot biased

It was not supposed to be a great season, but ended up being a really fun one and successful. If you went to all the home games and the Pinstripe you saw us win 6 games in person, pretty good. The home fans should be really happy !!

7 wins amazing. And Wisconsin, Mich, OSU were there for the taking but for pick 6s and a couple breaks. A lot of enjoyable plays this year too, MSU blocked punt and the one today were awesome, cant wait to watch the season highlight reel. Worth the investment this year!

This win today was huge for the program. Beating Miami, even if they were short some players, gives off a great vibe for recruiting.
Also being 7-6 is a whole lot better than 6-7 psychologically as the team heads into the off season. Congrats to Greg, the entire coaching staff and off course the kids for a fun season.

You have to admit that a large percentage of our fans did not expect 7 wins this year. You're right it wasn't a GREAT season but it's a giant step forward for the program.
Going from 2-10 to 7-6 in four years while playing in the B1G 10 East is a real accomplishment.

Only you thought that. You missed the point each poster was saying. It was a better season than anyone anticipated. Way to go and turn a positive moment into a somber one.
