Have we not tried to get Brunetti again?

Maybe Dan doesn't want him since he rejected us before, or maybe he just never really liked us in the first place but he'd still be a good fit for our offense.

No difference between he and little Favre except Favre is better. Don't need him. Prescott is who we need to reel in.

and we already have 2 backups that have just as much if not more to offer plus one has some game experience. If Dak comes we should be much better from a potential and depth stand point. It would have been nice to have signed him so he would be comfortable with the system. Now he's been redshifted, and would still have to sit out due to transfer rules. He won't fit Nutt's system either, because Nutt has run a pass type offense since Clint Stoerner was at Arky.

He's a 17ing idiot had his chance to come in Dan told him this would happen. Don't feel sorry for the kid hope he is successful and everything but Dak is twice the athlete Brunetti is. He'll be a Masoli type player with better head and throwing fundamentals. Not an NFL guy but could be a solid college QB. Not a fan of the blitz tho and obviously not a starter at his dream school in West Virginia. He'll have to sit out or Moultre or whoever that post player we have is should be playing. Nutt is a QB killer so I rest easy.

this guy turned us down, and NOW he wants to come to MSU?

I think he's a good player, and talented, but I would certainly question his commitment to the program.

He actually played as a true freshman this year at WV, so he could still have his RS year. He is going to try to be immediately eligible on a hardship waiver- like Mike Brown- because he has an ill family member or something like that.

If he came now, he would be in the exact same boat as Dak Prescott as far as learning the offense and a year behind Favre.

He said "wouldn't like it" as in a "if "situation. You Bears are so touchy these days. At this point, it wouldn't bother me if Houston Nutt got Cam Newton to transfer. It's fun watching him put his magical touch on QB's.

1. Dak sticks with MSU - then Brunetti should be offered preferred walk-on status.<div>2. Dak bolts to LSU and no other QBs on tap to be signed this year - consider offering a scholarship. </div><div>
</div><div>Brunetti's competition would do nothing but help Favre and Russell. Competition is one of the greatest motivators.</div>
