Haven't seen it posted, but there's a rumor that Leach is stepping down after the season.

After the bowl? Other than people asking on here similar to this thread I’ve heard nothing from any “real” people.
If this is true, he should make it known, NOW.
He can go ahead and coach it out.
He’s stepping down to Key West after the season. He’s probably there now.
This is a false rumor started by OM before the EB as a counter to the Lane train rumors

Leach is going nowhere. You will have to put up with another good season. Maybe a great season
I doubt OM started those rumors. Hell, before the egg bowl most OM fans didn’t care if he stayed forever. Now with the loss, not so much.
I heard a rumor that I know is probably true. Kiffin is leaving at the end of next season. "If he doesn't blow the interview and negotiation handling along with losing the Egg Bowl because his head is somewhere else."

Unfortunately it wasn’t just OM fans perpetuating that rumor. Leach-hating MSU fans were fanning those flames too. Especially on another MSU message board. It’s sad that you would try to sabotage your own program before the rivalry game just because you dislike the coach. But some fans are dumb as hell.
