Hawai’i Bowl - What an ending!

Down 31-28, Hawai’i starting QB has to sit out a play. Backup QB comes in and throws a touchdown to take the lead with 10 seconds left. Cal tries the west weave, but laterals it forward. A fight breaks out in the middle of the play.

Games like these are why I love the bowls.

Damnit! I went to bed as they were kicking when it went to 21-21. Knew I should have kept watching.

Now THAT was a ball/bowl game. And I loved the way it ended.

The sellout crowd makes a difference in these bowl games. Most of the games have little to no crowd and the atmosphere is dead. Hawaii playing a home game in front of a sold out crowd (their stadium only seats 15,000) made for a great atmosphere.

Just watched highlights. A lot of dropped INTs in that game.
