on the B&B show you keep referencing the 1988 baseball team as the best team we ever had that didn't make the CWS but you are actually referencing the 1989 team. It was the 1989 team that won the SEC and had a record of 54-14 (still the most wins in program history). The '88 team was 44-20. I still personally think the 1989 team was the most talented in our history and maybe the most top to bottom talent I've ever seen on a college baseball team (though obviously not the top end talent we had in 1985) and included:

1B - Tommy Raffo
2B - Burke Masters/Jon Shave
SS - Brad Hildreth/Jon Shave
3B - Pete Young
C - Barry Winford/Jim Robinson
CF - Jody Hurst
RF - Tracy Echols/Ron Winford
LF - John Cohen/Ron Winford
DH - Richie Grayum
P - Bobby Reed, Chris George, Tracy Jobes, Chuch Holly, Chuck Daniel, Pete Young (closer)

Yes. One thing, Richard Lee played from 1995-1998 I believe.

How can you leave off Jon Harden.

Yep, brain cramp, meant Tommy Raffo and somehow typed Richard Lee. Added Jon Harden though in my mind I couldn't remember for sure if he was on that team, he was definitely on the 90 team that did go to the CWS.

Harden didn't play enough to letter in '89........

which is why you forgot about him. He was on the team but that's about it.
