Best roastbeef poboy in the world. Just bring an extra change of clothes for after you get done eating it because it looses gravy all over the place

My bad, just assumed someone going to the coast was not looking of BBQ or Steak

Just saying. Some people don't like seafood. All three are prominent on the menu and at one time Blowfly was mostly a steak and BBQ house.Over the years and after many owners, quality of certain foods has varied.

Spent too much moneyconstructing a new buildingand went under... Mary's Drive In was my all time favorite! Shrimp Po-boy and a Barq's in the bottle... didn't get any better!

I saw the need for the new building, but I feared it would take away from the uniqueness of the place. I moved prior to them finishing it. I agree, it would be hard to beat Mary's.

Try the White Cap for Seafood. Another good place is Captn Als on Cowan Lorraine Road. Surf and Turf the best.

Have fun getting here. Traffic is already bad. Pluss I-110 is down to 2 lanes. Yes Mary's had the best Po-Boys on the Coast. My dad would take us there after the Notre Dame FB games at Lee Street. This was back in the 60's.

Another recommendation for the roast beef po-boy at the Pass Christian restaurant. I also heard recently they are going to rebuild at their old location.
