but holy effing balls people. Our defense played like Tyrone Nix was calling the plays, if not worse, and you clowns all want to make up conspiracy theories about people listening to plays? I've been cussing the refs over that damn spot, the lack of review, and ignoring Dan's timeout call at the end of the game all day long, but Jesus H. people. There is a place for you. It's a Scout message board, run by a guy with a mullet, likely wearing jorts. His name is Gene. God I miss SPS. It's unfortunate that it no longer exists, which has nothing to do with our team being successful and more to do with the average common sense threshhold of the posters today...

it is obvious that something odd is going on there. people are just curious. i don't see anybody saying anything definite about it, but i wouldn't put anything past the auburn football program at this point. how could u? regardless, our defense getting gashed all day is why we lost.

State's headsets weren't working, Auburn was forced to take theirs off to make it fair, and Chizik was mad that Hevesy still had his on, wondering why he would have it on if it wasn't working. It was pretty obvious that's how it went down.

I was at the game and paid close attention to this asI was real curious what was happening. When Chizik first startedpointing at John, John actually had the headset on. I am 100% sure of this. One of Chizik's assistants pointed this out to him (It wasn't one I recognized). I am assuming he had it on and it just wasn't working or maybe it was certain headsets on our side that weren't working?

Although, I do find it interesting that we moved the ball great in the 1st half, and then didn't move the ball very well in the 3rd. After this incident occured, we moved the ball up the field very easily. I tend to think that is a result of us getting out of our game plan versus anyone listening in, but I wasn't down on the field to know.

I really think that ifMullen thought someone was listening in, he would have went ballistic. He is not the kind of guy who would just brush something like that off. </p>

Who knows what happened. Chizik's reaction to the refs is a little odd. Also the refs explanation seems a little longwinded for "hey coach their headsets are out therefore you guys can't use yours." Dont think it was that cut and dry.

Keep calling plays through them. Tell the QB to his face when we call a play to the right, you tell the guys in the huddle we're going left.

Ted Roof laughing is at the 3:30 mark. The finger over the mouth could be a defensive play call.

Unlawful interception of wire communications is a crime. I think it's a misdemeanor in AL, but it's a crime nonetheless. And if they were listening, it absolutely fits the elements of the crime.

That said, upon further review, I think Hevesy might have simply been arguing that he could hold his headset just like chizik was doing. I don't know. But au stuffing the play immediately before, stuffing our offense before that point, getting abused by our basic offense after that point, and MOSTLY the gestures of Freeman and Roof make it all look very fishy.

I have neveR been a conspiracy theorist, but taken as a whole, its just fishy. I wonder if the DA in auburn is a Bama grad...

Was there any way for Les to be involved from the booth after they took the headsets off?? Maybe Mullen was tired of his crap --- we ran the ball a lot more in the 4th quarter after this incident than in the 3rd quarter.
