Happy Sunday to the Six Pack!</SPAN>
</SPAN>
What a difference a week makes. The sky is bluer. The flowers are blooming. The air is cooler and crisper. And new stars are born every week. To much of the dismay of the General, his prediction of a blowout in Baton Rouge on This is Our Show was completely off base and sickening. But having known him all my life, it’s not surprising. The cream recipe still calls for a little bit of purple and gold tiger in it. Stallion must admit that the Vegas line of a 4 point favorite for LSU was shocking, but blowout??? Come on General, you are better than that. Have you not seen LSU’s defense play this year? And that star with whom the Stallion is referencing is no other than Mr. Jeremy Hill. He is what Marcus Lattimore wishes he is today and probably was at that age. The OBC’s offense was non-existent for most of the game. What happened to that vintage defense that got steam rolled by the power running game of LSU? You can’t spell Capital One Bowl without the OBC.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
And congratulations to the Mississippi State Bulldogs as they work their way up the ladder of competition strength by holding off the Volunteers last night. The Stallion knows State fans are still vulnerable in some aspects of their game but in all reality, 7-0 is highly likely with the showdown in Tuscaloosa. The big question will be – can Tyler Russell impact a game against a defense that will certainly have a pass rush like nothing he has faced this year?</SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN>
And finally, did the WAC impose its offensive and defensive strategies in College Station? The Stallion will confirm the answer to the question as soon as the Louisiana Tech – Texas A&M game completes. (Just got a note on my desk that it finally ended.)</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

The Cream crystal ball is feeling bolder, the Week 7 rankings explain why:</SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN>
#1) Alabama Crimson Tide – Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’!!! Bama appears to be headed into another Cream Title if they can overcome Death Valley on Nov. 3[SUP]rd[/SUP].</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

#2) LSU Tigers – The Stallion is admittedly wrong for tiger dropping them to 7 last week. LSU’s defense alone makes the Tigers formidable against any team in the nation. If they can dominate lines of scrimmage like that, the Stallion feels the Tigers can beat anyone and will wind up being better than the teams below them.</SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN>
#3) South Carolina Gamecocks – I’m in favor of having a Steve Spurrier reality tv series. The sideline shots are golden, but his press conferences are even better. The Stallion agrees with the OBC however. They still are a team that is going to win the East, and the Cocks are still submissive to the elite of the West.</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN>
#4) Florida Gators – Despite the win against LSU, the Stallion feels the Gators streak is about to come to a sudden halt beginning with the Roosters next week.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
#5) Georgia Bulldogs – Richt spent this weekend counting the “what ifs” and the “what should have been’s” aGAIN.</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN>
#6) Mississippi State Bulldogs – As ESPN would say, the Mississippi State Rebels are looking good and that Taylor Russell kid has NFL potential written all over him. </SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

#7) Texas A&M – Johnny Football continues to make plays and gather W’s for the Aggies. Sumlin forgot he coaches A&M and not Houston last night. The Stallion can assume that the extra 20,000 fans to bring the attendance up to 30,000 made a huge difference in Louisiana Tech's performance at Independence Stadium.</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN>
#8) Arkansas Razorbacks – Silently, the Razorbacks slide has ended and the R’Backs are destroying the bottom feeders of the SEC. Could they be getting their Mojo back?</SPAN>
</SPAN></SPAN>
#9) Tennessee Vols – It was a shame that we didn’t get to see the orange pants last night on the sideline. It’s also a shame that he’s about 5 more games before losing his job.</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

#10) Ole Miss Rebels – Keeps gaining confidence one game at a time and are good for an upset before the end of the year. Could it be…no…might it be…maybe…will it be the Egg Bowl???</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN>
#11) Vanderbilt Commodores – Game was played about what the Stallion and the rest of the nation expected. Competitive yet short of another SEC win.</SPAN></SPAN>
</SPAN>
#12) Missouri Tigers – The fact that they are ahead of any SEC teams is a shame, but in head to head combat, Missouri has enough finesse and desire to win against the two teams below them. To quote the Mizzou fans, "The Big 12 wasn't so bad of a conference to play in after all." With all honesty, the Stallion watched the first play of this game and knew it was over.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
#13) Auburn Tigers – Apparently in football, one person can win championships – Cam Newton. Without him, Auburn is nothing more than a poisoned oak tree.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
#14) Kentucky Wildcats – This team even made John L. Smith laugh.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
HOT BOUDIN – LSU Tiiiigaaaahhhhhssss!!!! The Stallion still isn’t all in on that offense, but the defense is ferocious and the offense may be finding a little more identity. Huge win in Death Valley – where dreams come to a sudden halt.
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
COLD COOSH COOSH – Auburn Cheezesticks – When you don’t think it could get worse, you could help Ole Piss stop their 16-game SEC losing streak. Yikers!
</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
Love,</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>
Stallion</SPAN></SPAN></SPAN>

BiPolar much?

The only way that happens is if we limit SCe to 10 points. Not happening!

MSU is still really a mystery to me but you're winning effortlessly which is a sign of a good team

There must've been some purple haze clouding up your crystal ball........

Florida is CLEARLY the number two team in this league right now.....I'd go with UF two and LSU third........

Crystal ball says otherwise. South Carolina will expose UF. Vandy almost did. Florida just doesn't look all that great to me. I think they will lose 2 maybe 3 games before end of the year.

LSU threw the ball effectively with the exception of the INT. I wish they would have done some play action on 1st down inside the red zone to convert some of these drives to TDs

Love the quote by Miles "This is the place where people's dreams come to die." Of course, that may turn out to be his before it is over

WHAT???????? This is the same team that made you look impotent last week! Remember last Sunday, when you were crying and had LSU what, 6th. Muschamp took Miles and threw him on the pinball machine and made it tilt.

They are inconsistent. Your coach has no confidence in his ability to throw the ball. That was apparent when they were playing for the field goal to go up 16-14

Game was in swamp! We had 5 significant injuries in that game! It was a wreck for LSU! No doubt! Neutral field LSU is a better team and you will see why once USCe beats them

State should be #3. Until they're knocked off, undefeated teams should be above

Defeated teams during this part of the year.

1) Alabama- the best, the defending national champions, what we all want to be when we grow up.
2) Florida- Stout defense, plus their QB is developing into a playmaker.
3)THE Mississippi State University- finally, we have an NFL-calibre QB.
4) LSU- One of only two definite tMSU losses this year
5) South Carolina- did much better than I thought, after a rousing win against Georgia the week before.
6) Texas A&M- Johnny Manziel is the Archie Manning of Niedermeyer Tech.
7) Georgia- Richt recruits 14-win a season talent, with 2-win a season brains, and it comes out to 7-9 wins a year.
8) Arkansas- Agree they might finally be getting their mojo back.
9) Tennessee-Has superb talent, incompetent coaching. Watch out if they can lure Tommy Tuberville or Bobby Petrino to Rocky Top next year.
10) - 13) interchangeable between Missouri, Vanderbilt, the university of ole miss, and Kentucky. BTW, congrats on uom winning their first SEC West game against anyone not named Ole Miss since 2009.
14) Auburn- As I was told by Rebel faithful after we beat Auburn, this was the worst Auburn team of all time. No, make that the worst FOOTBALL team of all time. Why, the 1916 Cumberland team that was steamrolled by Georgia Tech 222-0 would've kicked their ***....and the last surviving player died in 1970.

I'm not sure about that stallion. Florida can run the ball too. Looks like SC has a problem with stopping that

LSU is a better team at home. So is Florida. So is most teams. It will be a good game between SC and Florida, home team may be the difference

Entertaining read but these rankings week to week are ridiculous.

The way teams move around significantly these rankings should be called Stallion's flavor of the week.

You must not be very familiar with the series. USCe has won the last two with their best teams in history and two of Florida's worst in recent history. USCe will lose, and maybe lose to Vandy.

Move Florida up to #2 (really? you've got them #4???). Right now, I'd keep USC #3 and move LSU to #4. Florida was a lot more dominating in their win over LSU than LSU was in their win over USC. You usually do a pretty good job with these rankings, but the last 2 weeks you've let your emotions as an LSU fan get the better of you. LSU got their *** kicked in the Swamp and this was a trap game for USC (sandwiched between the UGA and UF games and on the road) that wasn't going to affect their chances to win the East win or lose.

LSU completely dominated the SC game! I'm not sure if you watched it based on that comment! I knew the UF ranking would provide negative WTFs but Florida will be exposed.

Did you even watch the Florida-LSU game? You drop LSU all the way to #7 after that one and then move them all the way up to #2 for this one. You've let your emotions take total control over your brain the last two weeks. Anybody should have been able to see that USC would have a letdown game after the UGA game and with UF coming up. That's why I picked them to win even though I thought (and still think) they're a better team than LSU.

I realize you do this for attention..

..but as several others have pointed out already, these "rankings" are ridiculous. I also realize you are an emotional homer who is incapable of viewing LSU through an objective lens, but a team that struggled with Towson, got *****-slapped by UF & beat USC by 2 in a USC trap game is nowhere near the 2nd best team in the SEC.

I will say that LSU shut down a very potent Gamecock rushing attack. It was an inspired defensive effort from LSU last night but the concerns on offense can't be ignored. I didn't think you guys dominated until I looked at the stats and you nearly doubled their yardage. Mettenberger might as well have Lee or Jefferson on the back of his jersey because the results are the same. He has failed to impress in a single game all year. As far as the rushing game, you guys clearly miss Blue. I would have expected Ford or Ware to be the workhorse of this offense, but Blue was the one hitting home runs before he got injured. Hilliard had an especially rough night rushing the ball. He had one run for 17 yards and nine more runs for a total of 16. I really like the play of lining Ware up under center to take a direct snap on a "QB" sneak. Teams without a bigger QB should do that for short yardage plays.

You have to rank SC higher simply because they are going to win the East.

And you have LSU ranked too high simply because they can't play every game in Tiger Stadium.

Tennessee is better than A&M and certainly ARKANSAS. ARKANSAS at #8, really?

Worst cream rankings to date.

Good post! Offensively, LSU is vulnerable but what made them effective last night is they let Mettenberger pass quickly and kept the defense off balanced. The emergence of Jeremy Hill may fill the void left by Blue. It wasn't like Mettenberger was a zero last night but Les plays him like Lee no doubt. You could see that Les was more involved with the play calling last night.

Florida will lose to USCe! The cream theory will be in full effect! Offensively they have holes like LSU. And I don't think they are as good defensively as LSU.

State still hasn't played anyone in the top 5 of the Cream Rankings. Still have some work to do.

LSU is better than SC... Clear domination was shown. However I do think they will win the East.

Why is TN better than A&M. I haven't seen that at all. Your Arky argument is debatable. However I feel like Arkansas will get stronger as the year goes on and I don't feel that way about Tennessee especially if Dooley gets on the hotter seat

I admittedly overreacted in Week 6s rAnkings bc I felt that LSUs OL was decimated and unrepairable! Stallion was wrong! That team last night made Saban get out of his Lazy Boy last night and take note! Can't wait for the next 3 weeks
