He didn't say much that wasn't coach speak. But he did say about 10 times how great it was to go work for a quality coach like Coach Richts.

Kang JWS said it best "Somebody has to be the son of a *****" - the HC. The D has underachieved for two years straight. Incidents like the sideline blowup don't just happen. I wish Wilson the best. Glad we are trying something new.

I read it Goat. And honestly still feel the same as I did before I read it. The only thing I'll say is that it's my understanding and in my experience that in some cases the DL coach doesn't need to be the DC. Still have alot of admiration for Coach Wilson. And I know things about what happened that somewhat handicaped his ability for proper personnel on the field. And I'm not at liberty to post such things on an open forum. I have received PMs on here asking me to divulge this info and I'm not going to do it. Out of respect for the current staff, MSU and Coach Wilson. Feel free to flame away. Some of you have no idea what it's like to be a coach of something besides a little league base ball team. There are politics and promises and other things that people like you Goat JUST don't get. Sometimes it's about more that wins and loses.

That sounds EXACTLY like a little league baseball team.

Nope

He mentioned MSU a couple of times, but actually talked about Oklahoma more when asked about his past; like he was intentionally trying not to talk about MSU in order to not go negative.

My favorite part of the interview was when he said he loved the chess match of adjustments in between series and halves. I got a chuckle out of that.

A lot of that had to do with our offensive style and the way we killed clocks and shortened games.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I coached tee ball and later the first phase of little league (coach pitch). Tee ball was by far the harder of the two, primarily because of the mothers. I can only imagine how being a real coach would be ... I want no part of it.

Not this crap again. It's so boring, biased, tailored to your liking, and just plain wrong.

- Auburn ripped us a new ******* with younger personnel
- Louisiana Tech went through us like Troy
- Georgia killed us simply by giving the ball to Crowell
- Arkansas just wore us completely out
- LSU and Alabama did what they had to do

The D played a good game vs. Carolina, I'll give them that, until the last play. Our success in 2011 was about due to Fletcher Cox alone.

2011 Time of possession- 26:10/game
2012 Time of possession- 30:01/game

well, now that you are totally and completely wrong- would you like to try again?

scored 24 and had 315- both below their season averages
- Auburn ripped us a new ******* with younger personnel- bad game- no doubt
- Louisiana Tech went through us like Troy- scored 20 points, their 2nd lowest output of the season
- Georgia killed us simply by giving the ball to Crowell- scored 24 and had 315 yards- both well below their average and we also scored a defensive TD
- Arkansas just wore us completely out- and the offense did nothing to help the D
- LSU and Alabama did what they had to do- both struggled to move the ball against us all game- Bama got nearly half their rushing total in the 4th vs a worn out D. Saban even raved after the game about how good our D was.

The D played a good game vs. Carolina, I'll give them that, until the last play. Our success in 2011 was about due to Fletcher Cox alone.

That takes care of you and Tenure now...you 2 sumbitches couldn't close an umbrella

Wrong. You basically admit I was right on two of those (your Arkansas defense is weak, they killed us from the beginning). Louisiana Tech is a WAC team, they SHOULD do their worst against us, even without our best effort. Georgia ran through us, no debating this to anyone who watched the game.

You know as well as I do that LSU and Alabama weren't 'up' for their game against us, and we were sky-high. At any rate, they still beat us by 2 TDs each. That's KNOWING their defense was going to win the game for them. Give me a break. And again, like I said, any success our D had was because we had a 1st rounder in the middle.

Acknowledge it, pal. You're wrong, as usual.

His reference to Richt being a quality corch doesn't necessarily infer that he considers Mullen a corch lacking it.

That was one of Sherrill's weaknesses. He didn't want to be the son of a *****. Jimmy Johnson said as much at one time. Unless he had somebody else to administer the discipline, he failed. Like he did the last three years at State.

Oh...he actually said that Mullen was not a quality corch...in those words? I doubt it. Man, you're really into the black helicopter thing...why not just let it go.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence ...

until you get there. And he just about has to say that about Richt since he just hired him. Wait til he leaves Georgia for somewhere else, if it's essentially a firing.
