You must be refuring to the Viking Ship stadium which I believe won't be ready until fall of 2016 from what relatives have told me.

Yeah, let's hope the stadium's opening in the fall of 2016 doesn't interfere with this spring of 2019 event.

On a side note.... Target Field is a decent place to take in a game.

Not going to happen at the new Vikings US Bank Stadium, they would never convert that field to baseball to bring in 1,000 people per game max, later in the the spring Target Field would be a possibility.

I have a difficult time believing Florida State or Clemson baseball wants to play in Minnesota prior to the conference season.

This would have to be mid-May. Smack in the middle of conference seasons

As a point of reference, walleye fishing season opens Mother's Day weekend and 2 years ago the lakes we still frozen, baseball in MN in April is very dicey and early May is not much better. The first year I moved here it snowed Nov 8th and we didn't see the lawn until April 17th. Therefore I find it very hard to believe MN is viable option for a series like this unless someone ponies up huge dough to put a field in US Bank Stadium and I can't see anyone doing that for a sport that doesn't draw squat unless it's played in Omaha or the south.
