Hearing good things about the Alexander brothers..,

Apparently they are both coming in this weekend, and both they, and their parents are liking what they are hearing and seeing from Brewster and Co. Would be 2 monster pick ups in my opinion.

Engie or others....you hearing the same?

It's been rumored lately that they would be coming separately -- MacKensie first and Mackenro second -- so they could enjoy having separate experiences and compare notes on everything. It's been pointed out that this would likely get their parents to campus twice, which can only be a good thing.

I've heard nothing but excellent things -- especially since hiring Townsend. I honestly think we're in the driver's seat on this one...

Anyone know why they haven't taken visits?

It seems really weird that both have yet to take a visit at least as far as any recruiting service can tell. Just really weird.

They have.

Mackenro has definitely been to Kentucky(last week), and I think he may have gone to Clemson with MacKensie earlier in the year(not positive)...
MacKensie has already been to aTm and Clemson during the season.

Yea I had heard they may split their visits, but now I'm hearing they're both coming this weekend. I'm fine with it either way. If we were to somehow close with the Alexander's and Conner, I think it would be safe to say that Townsend and Brewster were Mullen's best two recruits of the year.

Not saying we get Conner, but Deshea took us from a 0% chance to about a 20% chance in my opinion. Maybe even a little higher. My gut tells me we may get a commitment from the Alexander's on Sunday or Monday.

- They are intent on playing together -- he mentions otherwise in his article.
- According to the 24/7 composite, MacKensie is a 5* -- not a 4*.
- He mentions A Super Bowl ring in the first paragraph when it should have read as a pair of Super Bowl rings -- although he later correctly acknowledges that Deshea does have 2 of them.
- We didn't just lose our 2 most veteran DBs -- We lost 3. One at Mackenro's position, 2 at MacKensie's...
- Mackenro already eliminated Rutgers, MacKensie already basically eliminated Kentucky. Why Talty still mentioned them when that can be found with a simple online search just shows that he hadn't done any real due diligence on either brother before writing the article.

Outside of all those relatively minor gaffes, it's a pretty good read...
