I heard Freeze is super interested in the Auburn position should it come open, and is going to take Nkemidiche and all the other good recruits there with him. Col. Reb is dying.

Couple years ago I would have been worried about this BUT thankfully Mullen has turned the program around and this is now a much better job/opportunity. We have a great AD and an energized fan base and boosters willing to pony up a competitive salary offer. If he leaves he leaves...I'm quite confident that we could make a great hire and keep the momentum going. Hailstate!

I would be surprised if TN is interested in him. But if it happens, so be it. Hud would be glad to step in and take the program from there.

I've yet to understand what's so great about Hudspeth. I saw him coach the game against Arkansas State a week or two ago and didn't see anything spectacular. And they lost the game. I seem to recall even seeing a couple of trick plays that didn't work.
