I agree with what she is saying. I also wonder if I don't move my head around enough when I talk now.

It's been months since Hegseth or Caine have appeared before non friendly media. Normally you can never get in between Hegseth and a TV camera, but even Pete is wary of getting boxed in with something he says. He's more comfortable showing his guns off at the Iowa State Fair telling people he isn't afraid to be a white Christian male in America.

I appreciate the humor of her talking about the good old days of Rumsfeld and the Iraq war. Yes, those were good times - the incompetently planned invasion of Iraq.

Looks like genius somewhere between Sun Tzu and Von Clausewitz comparably speaking to this **** show.

Do you believe the Iran “incursion” was planned and executed competently?

In 6 months the Iranian regime has been completely crippled, so the short answer is yes.

Administration wins in Iran:

Destroyed nuclear program ambitions completely

Killed the terrorist ayatollah, his gay son/would be heir and dozens in top leadership command roles

Destroyed the Iranian military. Over 90% of their military assets have been destroyed.

Complete blockade of Iranian oil. Not a single barrel of their number one financial product has left the country.

Near complete control of the straight of Hormuz with oil flow back to ~75% of pre war levels

A new route was secretly dredged by the US navy allowing complete bypass of hormuz with no direct line of site even from Iran

Economic pressures have resulted in inflation running completely out of control. Their economy is in complete shambles.

Bessent has shut down their international banking network completely. The terrorists are completely isolated and unable to pay their military or social media influencer campaigns.

Trump wins again. Dems take yet another L.

I get the impression that the left doesn't even understand the larger global implications of this (plus Venezuela) as it pertains to countries like China as well as the global terrorist networks that were all funded out of Iran.

4,400 US soldiers died in Iraq. How does that compare with Iran so far?
No ****. One was a ground invasion, one isn’t (yet). How about this: average daily burn rate of Iraq, at its peak, $300M; Iran, $890M - $1B. Per day. Also this little jewel:

Immediate Economic Blowback: Unlike the Iraq War, the conflict with Iran has triggered an immediate domestic economic shock. Because Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz, global energy markets spiked instantly. According to the Brown University Iran War Energy Cost Tracker, American households have already absorbed over $93 billion in extra gas and diesel costs at the pump, pushing domestic inflation up to 3.4%

And all of this with no clear line of sight on how to get out without capitulation.

I prefer a higher burn rate and far fewer US deaths. Don't you?

The CPI rose 21% in four years under autopen. So far it is up 4.8% in 19 months under Trump, a much lower rate. What did Brown U say about that?

Solid attempted pivot. This war was remarkably ill-conceived by unqualified sycophants to a megalomaniac, addled moron. There is no exit strategy. Full stop. There is no plan. Full stop. This is indefensible. Full stop.

their entire worldview depends on them not distinguishing between a global pandemic and an unneccesay war of choice undertaken with essentially no allies or coalition

Your thinking hit full stop before you could answer whether you prefer high burn rate with few US deaths, or low burn rate with many deaths.

How about, you know, not starting the goddam war in the first place?
Yes, why would he take such an action knowing it would damage his party's political chances in the midterms? What could possibly be the reason?

This is an exercise in futility. And this is also why your don’t argue with idiots - they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
