Watch Klein win this...

The old codgers (I'm assuming they still vote) won't vote for a Freshman. They also won't vote for a linebacker. Klein is the default pick.

I think Manziel will get most of the votes from the southern region voters, but those up north and out west don't want to see the SEC get yet another award. I think it stupid that people wont vote on a freshman. If he's the best player this year, then why not. Is there a good argument for not voting for a freshman? To me, the Heisman hasn't been as prestegious as it used to be. Too many politics involved nowadays.

Think about how many Heisman trophy players and NC teams we have seen play in Starkville over the last 5 years. Manzeil is right there with Cam. He's the best play maker I've ever seen. 70% of their drives are extended because of him creating something.(im estimating) He's like that backyard football player in the neighborhood that always gets away and frustrates everybody till they quit playing with him.

Yes, but the linebacker plays for Notre Dame. That plus the national media is fed up of how the SEC has dominated so many aspects of college football the last several years leads me to think Te'o. Not to mention his story sells.
