Gerhardt, Suh, McCoy, Teblow and the #2 RB in the SEC.

My money is on Gerhardt.

I think the "#2 RB in the SEC" (even though he's technically #1 due to his unanimous first team selection) turned a lot of heads on Saturday against the defending champs. Games like that win the trophy.

Gerhart is impressive and in many ways deserving, but getting it done in the Pac-10 ain't exactly getting it done in the SEC.

Suh would be my pick but I don't know if enough voters have the balls to pull the trigger on a defensive player.

McCoy, in my opinion, lost a lot of votes against Nebraska (and Suh in particular) so I doubt he'll be near the top.

Tebow doesn't have a prayer after crumbling on the field and crying on the sidelines.

I think a few votes will be the difference between Ingram, Gerhart, and Suh. This is one of those years where there is no clear-cut pick. Should be interesting.

I think the voters were all set to give it to him until Saturday. I'd bet my life that it's either Ingram or Gerhart.

I don't think you can penalize a dominant player for who is scheduled. All he can do is compete against who his team is scheduled to play. Gerhart dominated every opponent he faced. So did Suh. Ingram..... not so much.

That said, I think (hope) Ingram, Gerhart, and McCoy split enough first place votes, that Suh, who is second on probably most ballots, wins the trophy.

Don't forget, about 40 or so South/Mid West voters left Tebow completely off of their top 3 last year. Don't think they won't leave Gerhart and Tebow off this year. And Suh has no chance in hell even though he's the best player in college football today.</p>
