And they get away with it. I heard something yesterday regarding their recruitment of Chris Jones that just leaves me shaking my head. Can't say that is true but in hindsigh it sure seems to fit the events that happened. No, I have not emailed the TSUN compliance office. Like someone said in another thread, we get busted for a $100 handshake and they do what they do.
Again, this is what I was told yesterday by an individual that also posts on this site so if you see your words feel free to take credit for the scoop.
This is supposedly from the baseball coach at Houston High School. His dad is evidently nothing but trouble and been in and out of jail and was never around. When we went with Chris on his OV to TSUN they offered his dad 100K if he could get his son there. The reason that Chris kept going to Oxford every single night right before signing day was that they had some girls up there that were…how do I put this tactfully…doing their best imitation of Monica Lewinsky for him. Between the girls and the money they had pretty much talked him into flipping. Fortunately, his mom saw through all that and told him there was no way he was going to TSUN and that he was sticking with MSU. He listened to mama.</SPAN></SPAN>

Unless you have already contractually bound yourself to not share the contents of the e-mail, there is no privilege of communication in an e-mail sent to you by Mr. Campbell. Whether said e-mail contains a confidentiality notice has no bearing on any potential liability on your part for sharing that information (that was sent to and intended for you). So, you may as well post a .PDF of the e-mail. Either way, maybe you've grabbed Kyle Veazey's attention - and I'm sure he has no qualms with gathering and sharing e-mails from an athletic department employee at a public university...

I have heard a similar account of this story by a credible source that does not post on here. The difference is the amount I was told, which was much less than 100k, but it wouldn't surprise me either way. This is a person to whom I rely upon for recruiting information. I'll go with my gut instinct on this story.

Pretty easy to either not read it, not read a MSU board, or STFU. I agree that we all do things illegal, but when you guys do such blatant **** and get no punishment and MSU gets called out and reprimanded over a $200 handshake the **** gets old. So I don't have a problem with our fans getting pissed about it. This is exactly what I heard from a guy that is pretty well connected. That's why he claimed he was never in Oxford when in fact he actually was.
If Ole Miss had any knowledge of us offering a player $ (any amount) they would rat us out. They would do anything to bring our program down, so why can't we follow through on our god given hatred towards them and talk about it on a message board?

There's a reason ole miss boards don't dwell on State rumors. There's a reason our boards do dwell on OM rumors. And it's already been explained. They know what they are doing. They could send the NCAA to a couple more towns, knowing we are about to receive sanctions for major violations. But why do they want to bring scrutiny back to themselves? I don't want them interviewing or looking around our recruits involving Ole Miss. Their boosters knew what they had to do to get a couple more and they backed off for a reason. But they know the details. If they get busted, we get busted again. And it hurts them and we die on the vine. **** has to stop. Do any of you retards think Saban (or Bama boosters) doesnt know what Auburn does to flip a recruit?
