Congrats on the Bears and Dawgs on having great signing classes. Both should be fun to watch. It is obvious to see what the Bears are doing. I know first hand information on several players, but that is another thread for another day.

Our staff is still learning, and I give them credit. Hopefully, after this year, the Bears will learn to not try and poach our top players. We know how they do it. Again, a different thread- different day. Take Koolio for example. A kid that will never play meaningful football. A kid that gets hurt by being arm tackled. A kid that is just not a football player but an all world runner. He will indeed be a track star.

Ole Miss commit, decommits, commits to MSU in the summer, only to de-commit in December during the quiet period. Do you think our staff didnt know he was never coming? Do you guys think they didnt know he was a mole? A kid basically sent to smooth up folks / recruits in Sville to see what was up? Do you guys think the Bears didnt set this up? They knew it, we knew it, and Yancy Porter knew it well in advance:

Again, how would a "recruiting analyst" know something that wont happen for 6 months....not only that, but the exact time it would happen?

Move on to Chris Jones. Ole Miss recruited him the wrong way, went through the wrong person and went after Jones the way they go after every big name they have no shot at. Was Jones making late night trips to Oxford? Yes. Was it to see Ole Miss coaches? No. Again, another story. Our coaches knew Chris was a dawg the whole time. They sent him to get intel and intel only. Which he got MORE than plenty of. More than plenty folks. It is pretty laughable about how they dont even attempt to hide it. Jones helped us get the goods on them and we have nucleur weapons at this point.

I warned them about pissing Mullen off- maybe next year, they will not try and pull this ********. This aint the Ol M-State they are used to dealing with.

In Mullen We Trust,

"IT" would have been dropping the nukes. Not "another thread for another day" horseshit. Speak up today.

Very interesting. Sometimes the best information to is small simple things like this. It proved Yancy is tied into recruiting like we all know/suspect. Very interesting indeed

"first hand information on several players"? So you were in the room when they got the illegal benefits? I can't believe you hyped this up so much. Actually, yes I can believe it. Still an allstar in your own mind I see.

I said the other day, either he was going to OM, or we orchestrated the whole thing. With his mom saying it wasn't even close, I gotta say this makes perfect sense. Beautifully handled by Mullen.

How does that theory stack up against this tweet?

@bradlocke: Chris Jones says he was "80 percent" toward Ole Miss as late as last night, spoke with both head coaches this morning, made call around 6am.

Jones just said he was 80% leaning to Ole Miss last night. Told both coaches the news this morning at 6:00 AM. This pretty much squashes your whole theory that he was a "spy" all along.

Exactly- this whole board has whined about Mullen's recruiting and driven itself crazy about Jones...but now seeing this, suddenly it's not a big deal....righttttttt

I appreciate it, Coach.

I appreciate the info. I kinda figured that is what you were inferring. It is no secret the recruiting game is still dirty. How it is handled is obvious. Just look at Redmond vs Dodson. Two Memphis kids, both Devinner players, both got cars. One got busted because we played the game with the wrong people. The other is driving his to Oxford. They jumped all over it and had thier boy run his mouth to the media. Looks like Mullen and staff figured that out this go around.
