Since I am flying in the face of the flow here lately.
So, Tiger wins bay hill again. Where....ingeniously, he can hit iron off every tee except two holes. There were several times where he hit driver afoul....and of course it bounces off a spectator into the clear. Fowler, bless his heart, had a chance to serve up a knuckle sammich to his holiness Eldrick on the 16th staring right down the mouth of a par 5 170 out.....water.....twice.....triple. My knock on fowler was always his putter. He could never make putts when it counted. He did that yesterday up until 16. He made crucial putts. I honestly don't think the water balls were nerves, he just mishit it on a shot you couldn't afford to mishit it on. Kids got a world of talent....I just don't know about him. He's still young.
So, you think his holiness is back? He won this tournament last year. You can't hit iron off 90% of the tee's at Augusta. I will give his holiness this....his putter did look like olden times this week. His irons were on point again. I will say that Tiger plays the final round with the lead better than anyone I have ever seen. He has that down. I for one do not think he is back for Augusta. His driver will cost him there.
