whether Benghazi, Katrina response, the hiring of Paul Manafort, why doesn't the White House just say "we f-ed up." Or we could have done better. Watching Spicer talk about Manafort today. Why doesn't he just say, the vetting process could have been better. We should have better understood his ties to Russia. Once we understood, the POTUS terminated him. Clean, probably reasonably honest, and at the minimum it would lessen the scrutiny and further follow up.

Because much like Fonzie, politicians can't say when they are wrong.

I'll be "Cool" how I say this so some won't get the wrong impression or their panties all wadded up. Donald Trump was a better choice for President than Hillary Clinton....BUT......he is not the type to say "I'm sorry".

Today's political environment doesn't allow individuals to be human and show human flaws because everyone number 1 goal is POWER. And one's political opponents can spin BS out of the smallest weakness into something that can weaken their position of power. Therefore, you see one side always demanding an apology and the other side very rarely admitting fault in the manner that they should if they were not in politics.

You see a little t of apologies, the problem is they are fake as hell and you can tell. They aren't sorry for what they did, they are sorry for getting caught. They'll learn from it and make sure they don't make the mistake of getting caught again.
